I can't remember if it was 93 or 94 score but the platinum parallels are cool and can be a nightmare to track down due to how they were distributed.

I also like Upper Deck's 98-99 Rookie Rewind series 1 SPs.

It was the first time UD put short prints in the main set of the flagship brand and it pre-dates Programme of Excellence, which was the precursor to the rebirth of the Young Guns SPs.

Also love the '90s inserts and have a big want list of sets I am collecting. I don't think I saw this one, 93'94 Score Dynamic Duos USA and CA versions. Now, they weren't duffel, but still love those. The 95/96 Topps Mystery Finest and Bowman's Best are great, especially the refractor versions. This thread may go on forever, so many great cards from the '90s.

LOL, yes indeed the 90s brought the most amazing inserts ever man

I dont have any 95-96 Finest Mystery refractors yet as many of the one I find seemed plagued with centering issues and refractor lines. But I agree these refractors are some sweet looking cards

Other cool 90s inserts Ive picked up is 96 UD SP Clearcut Winners and 96-97 Metal Universe Ice Carvings (Super Power Version). The Super Power Version of this card is SICK and just as nice if not nicer than any PMG IMO

For anyone unfamiliar with the Red Lighters Refractors:

It seems that they are a very difficult grade. The paper tags just kills any eye appeal on this card.

A lot of the 90s stuff is great and I would love to add more; however, since there is so much out there, unless you know specifically what sets you are looking for, anyone have any tips on how to search for this stuff on eBay ?

They aren't impossible to find, as I have seen a few pop up recently

Those 1997's that are /100 were SO tough to track down in 1997

cannot even describe how difficult they were

As a more common insert, I loved 92-93 Euro Stars from UD S2 Jumbos. One per jumbo pack, they had an awesome silver frame around the edges.

Awesome cards man!!

I just picked up a 96-97 Select Mirror Gold Yzerman

Was browsing through an old Beckett and those 96-97 Select Mirror Golds were selling for BIG BUCKS back in the 90s

I just paid 5% of what the Yzerman booked for in 1999!!!

My favorite PC players of the 90s was Yzerman, Fedorov, & Gretzky (Im a HUGE Red Wings fan)

Holy crap I GOTTA pick up one of those /100 UD Black Diamond Run Of The Cup cards of Yzerman & Fedorov!

Yes cannot even imagine how tough those were to track down in pre-internet 1997! Mercy!

Very cool cards!

Yup it's true. Much like the front of the Lord Stanley's Finals /100. Can't see anything unless at an angle.
