Default Braves fans: How is Jesse Biddle?

Jerk comments aside...

..I have hundreds of graded cards and dozens of scores of ungraded autos of Mr. Biddle, when I wrongfully believed he was the next Cole Hamels. I'm afraid to ascertain how many thousands of dollars I spent...

In any event... I've tried looking on Braves websites and still not seen any progress, as well as googled the heck of him; I am assuming he'll be in spring training - he's on the 40 man roster - 40-Man Roster | MLB.com - has anyone seen any updates, other than the fact he's a jerk? The fact that he didn't pitch any winter ball doesn't bode well.

FWIW, he's really a nice kid. Hoping for the best for both him and my wallet. Had a few conversations with him years ago at ST.

I thought he had Tommy John last year and could not pitch. When I met him with Clearwater Threshers he was very nice and signed a few things for me. But I might be wrong about the surgery but that is I remember.

I don't know anything about how he is doing, but reading between the lines:

I think it's a good sign for him that he was not designated for assignment instead of Tyrell Jenkins.

Anyway, the only thing I might worry about from your perspective is that the Braves may try and add some guys late, which could affect the numbers.

Hope for all the best for him, as I have these on hand (they can be yours of course!):

He had TJ in, or around, Oct. 2015. He's supposedly ready for baseball this spring, but I've seen NOTHING as to anyone who has seen him pitch.

I have a 6 foot stack of graded Jesse Biddle cards in my closet. It's depressing.

I don't want him in the majors... if he's in the majors, he's a reliever. I'd rather he start in AA or AAA and put up good #s there and let me unload at that point. I'd rather get 30% of what I paid than 1% of what I paid.

That being said, an orange refractor biddle auto is closing in a few hours and it's just under $20...which is more than it should be right now...

I understand that. My point was more that he hasn't been DFA'ed from the 40 man. I highly doubt he'd start in the majors right away. What I'm saying is that you should be glad they are keeping him on the 40 man even through recovery, which shows you they value him.

Didn't he get DFA'd Twice in September or so? I thought I saw his name floating round Free Agents this offseason.

Same, figured it was worth a shot, but people who list "autographs" in the title historically get a lot less views these days

When I first read the title, I read it as Rocky Biddle and was wondering what year it was at first. Haha

Everyone's mad at me anyway. Grab a pitchfork and join the club.

I was gonna bid on it but... I cant throw more good money after bad. Went for about $26. About 1/6 of it's heyday price...

The Phils DFAed him...picked up by Pittsburgh...then they DFAED him...picked up by Atlanta.

I heard if he signs for you and then you comfort him because it isn't a perfect signature, he will get really mad and begin to massage his arm.

So, long story short, no one knows how the rehab is going.

There's hardly any rehab info out there. I've looked a few times in the past few months. All I could find the last time I looked was that rehab was going well. Might have been from his dads Twitter account. I feel like they will start him in high A or something and take it easy on him this year, much like they did with Fried this past year.

Thanks.

Found him at the 57 second mark. He IS alive! And deemed a "top prospect".
