Season is too long, salaries way too high, a lot of the players are pricks, tired of seeing NBA primetime when there's better college games on, they play basketball in June , etc.

How does any of that relate to NCAA being better?

The season is longer because it's a pro sport, and why would you want a shorter season to begin with?

How do player salaries make the sport any less enjoyable to watch? Most of the guys that might be considered "pricks" are a lot of fun to watch and make the game exciting, even if you may not agree with their antics off the court. (Not to mention there's a whole lot more pricks in the NFL, or any pro sport for that matter)

And NBA games are more exciting to watch because the level of competition is much higher than college, and almost every team has 1 or 2 guys that make great plays night in and night out. College has top 25 ranked teams playing random tiny state schools and blowing them out by 35 points every night.

So what's better about the NCAA?

Everything I was about to say, saved me some typing... Vikes post is completly irrelevant to what he is trying to support.

In a perfect world nba season

1 league/ conference

75 games (NO PRESEASON JUST A STUPID WAY TO MAKE PLAYERS INCREASE TO INJURY)

instead of playing teams 2-3 times at different times of the year you have a series like the mlb

so every series is 2-3 games depending on schedule and They are at the same stadium both days

at the end of the season the top 12 teams play in a tournament each series is best of three

and then championship is best of 5

I agree that the pre-season is pointless... I am fine with most of the rest of the league though.

Shorter season makes the games actually matter. The college players have to actually try to earn their salaries when they are pros. The NBA has Clippers, they'd finish in the middle or bottom of Big 10, ACC. The big games in college with top 25 teams are much better than the big pro games

WHAT!

Longer seasons...Pros...hello?

Make them matter? Last season the Western conference was SO CLOSE! That made EVERY game count. It also avoids fluke wins.

NCAA cant even be compared to NBA...

They are on COMPLETLY different levels, thats why only a selct group of players are drafted every year, and most of them just wind up in Europe, the D-League, or without a job!

It looks like NCAA players put in a lot more effort than NBA players and overall the atmosphere at NCAA games seems to be much more exciting...

NO WAY!!!!!! Are you crazy?? Blake Griffin was the Naismith POY in college and Eric Gordon was a beast in college. They would easily be a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament especially with Bledsoe and Aminu who were both stars in college and with both Baron Davis and Chris Kaman in the starting lineup.

Shorter season is better, they play defense. It seems like a lot of NBA teams haven't heard of that word before

Games still matter. Notice how the Western conference seeding these past few seasons has been determined by only a handful of games.

Also, that's a ridiculous statement to make. The Clippers would be national championship contenders every year! They are an NBA team with all NBA talent guys who were drafted or made teams. Even big college teams (KU, KY, NC) typically only have 1-2 NBA caliber players. 11 NBA players vs. 2 + fillers that will never play in the pros. Who wins that match-up? Especially since Oklahoma was a championship contender back when Blake Griffin was there- imagine Blake coming back with an entire NBA roster. . . .

Again, WHAT!

You obviously don't watch NBA...

Clippers....Really?

The worst NBA team would be #1, any day at all!

The Dumbest Post of the Year (DPOY)!

You need to watch more NBA basketball and less NFL football and MLB baseball.
