Default Wolverine cards - show them off

Now that the Logan movie has released. I was looking at some of my Wolverine cards and then I noticed this on the Non-Sport Update site ...
Wolverine Trading Card Appreciation - Topic
... which then led to this link to the Beckett site that had some cool Wolverine cards on it.
18 Awesome Wolverine Trading Cards

Here is my Wolverine "rainbow" of parallels and base card from Marvel 75th Anniversary set. The interesting thing about these cards is that most of them were part of artist Herb Trimpe's personal collection that I acquired from his estate. Herb Trimpe was the artist that first drew Wolverine in his introduction issue of Incredible Hulk #180 and his first appearance in issue Incredible Hulk #181 (1974).

That's is AWESOME!

I have a few decent cards, but it looks like just these two scanned so far. Maybe I'll try to dig up some of my favorites later.

I'm not a Marvel collector but any Gelebe Marvel sketch makes me all tingly. I would love to pull a Glebe Star Wars sketch someday.

I have a bunch of Wolverine sketches from the X-Men Origins set, but this one is my favorite. It's signed by Thomas Jane at a convention I attended years ago.

I had more duplicate autos at one point, but decided to "trim" it down to what it is now. The top 4 duplicate autos have some sort of emotional attachment. First one was pulled by me from a pack over 10 years ago. It was this card that got me hooked on the hobby. I've acquired more of these throughout the years, but always kept this particular copy in a red top loader so I wouldn't accidentally sell/trade it. The next 2 autos were pack pulled by my kids, so it's special to me. The last one is just a beat up copy that I intend to turn into a custom. A custom Logan booklet with a Jackman/Stewart cut sounds pretty good right now.

Those are some great cards! Probably not as limited as Jambalaya, the hologram cards from Marvel Beginnings seem to be a little tougher find than most realize.

They fell less than 1/box and the checklist was substantial. The Wolverine was a great hit! The only one I ever pulled was Juggy, and it is still in my PC. There was a time they were selling for $20 each for most chaeacters. If I wasn't sketch obsessed, I probably would have bought up a lot of them.
