Default Outlander Cards What's Going On?

I've watched outlander relic cards go through the roof lately on eBay. What's going on? For a while it looked like the market was slow for these cards but prices have definitely jumped lately.

The show has a very dedicated fan base. Couple this with a product that was not heavily ordered/ produced and demand far exceeded supply. Same thing happened a couple of years ago with the one and only Once Upon A Time release. I have a strong feeling that series 2 will not have this supply problem if it follows the same path as TWD did for each successive release while CZE held the license. But yeah, a few of the wardrobe cards still sell for ridiculous prices, especially the binder exclusive.

It is a very interesting market for Outlander cards. I had older ladies in the shop buying hobby boxes of Outlander Season 1 when it came out...very interesting.

I have talked to a few distributors and Crypto will be producing a ton of Season 2 to meet demand. Boxes will not be $300-$400 on the secondary market within in a year, like Season 1. lol.

Great looking product though. Binders were a huge hit too from Season 1.

Right, orders have to be in by Wednesday and I'm having a tough time trying to figure out if this will be worth it. My gut says stay away.

Yea, I ordered a Enough to fill the shelves, and to fill the pre-orders that I had. And that's about it for me. Having 2 diff dist tell me that crypto is printing ALOT more was good enough for me to not go crazy.

Default Outlander

I'm just been amazed by what I've heard about the passion that the Outlander collectors have. And that it's even translating to trading cards world. Then I even noticed that the Non-Sport Update with Outlander cover (June/July 2017) sold out in less than a week Maybe it's because of the Outlander promo card
Outlander Non-Sport Update Issue Sells Out in Less Than a Week

Here's a little something that I ran into tonight about the Outlander cards with Cryptozoic's George Nadeau ...

In comparison, I don't think it will be Game of Thrones Series 2, but possibly Game of Thrones Series 3 sales on this one.

I am amazed by the market for this product. Very interesting.
