Default Cup Cards from Group Break

I appologize to start if this is in the wrong thread section, but I think this best fits.....

I recieved my cards from the group Cup break, and have never collected hockey products before. My question is for those who have and can give advise on what to do with the cards.

I recieved:
4 ARP's of Gilbert, Hlinka, Dubinsky, Smaby.
Gold ARP of Krejci
Rookie Masterpieces 1/1 MacIntyre
Cup Foundations Macinnis Quad Patch 10/10

My thoughts were to sell Macinnis, and sit on the Rookies till one of them becomes hot, but not sure how hockey market works. If I dont sell now while Rookies, will they loose all their value and be worth less?

Thanks for any advise

My opinion would be to hold the rookies for a couple of years because these are usually the most sought after cards for them. If in a couple of years and they don't get hot, then I would go ahead and sell them then. You may get 20-30 less for them in that case (more if the patch is not nice). It is a risk/reward consideration and depends on whether or not you need the money or can sit on them.

I would sell the one on one now though while the market is hot.

Just my 2 cents. Some others may be able to help you with their opinions.

I believe Hlinka is playing overseas, Id drop that now if you can...hold onto the Dubinsky (even though I sold mine), I think he's the better one of the bunch that you got that I believe will have a good season again

I would sell the Smaby because he isn't coming up this year and only played a handful of games last year. Only because of injuries. I believe it was a nice 3-4 color patch so I would let it go asap!!! I think you should sell the MacInnis as well because You'll get maximum value for it now while The Cup is hot, he is retired so there is no upside and its an awesome card......and #'ed 10/10
