Retail Bowman

How has everyone been doing with retail this year compared to the last two years? Either I've had some decent luck this year or retail has been much better this year. I haven't pulled any big autos or even many, only one paper, but I've gotten a lot of color this year, much more than the last two years.

How has everyone else fared or felt about Bowman this year compared to 15 and 16?

I've received a ton of color. I've been mainly getting color through hanger packs. I landed 4 autos out of mega boxes(1 moncada). I landed 4 autos out of packs/hangers 3 paper 1 chrome(paper green Puk and Green Shimmer Weigel are the better hits)

I opened 15 hangers (pacl of 3 retail packs + yellow pack of 3) and pulled

The Cl Quantrill came in the very first pack. The Kelvin and Rondel both came out of a single hanger.

Got skunked on the other 13 hangers. Not even any other color.

I've bought about 7 blaster boxes and gotten a few reds, greens, green on card autos, I think I've hit a purple sticker auto also. . I'm loving bowman.. The only down side, I know nothing about the players I'm hitting. Still great to hit autos more often in a blaster compared to regular topps blasters (Heritage, series 1 ect).

I've opened 3 24-pack retail boxes and 3 blasters. Nothing in the blasters, but each retail box had one green chrome auto, and one paper prospect auto. It's been a much better value than hobby for me.

I love retail. My LCS didn't get any Bowman in so I've been forced to buy retail to get my fix and I've done pretty well. Haven't hit anything earth-shattering but from retail I've got a Lucas Erceg /5 Red Shimmer, about 7 of the paper autos, and a green shimmer chrome auto. Also got 3 Blake Rutherford Refractors /499 and numerous other chrome and paper parallels...

I actually have opened 3 different fat packs that had 2 autos in them. I thought that was pretty incredible the first time but 3 times I've gotten multiple autos in the same pack. I'm talking about the paper retail exclusive autos, not the chrome autos.

Had great luck with the Mega Boxes. Buddy and I bought all 6, hit 2 Otanis and an auto along with 7 other numbered cards.

Retail has been very colorful for me - with the price of hobby it's a no brainer if you have the wax itch.

Count me in as a retail fan: I've pulled at least six auto's and lots of color out of ten blasters and three hangers.

I've bought a couple blasters, but mostly the value packs with the yellow parallels - I've gotten a lot more color and autos than years past.

Go with the yellow parallel packs. Ive hit one chrome auto , 1 paper gold ref and multiple greens and 1 silver out of about 6(18 packs). You also get the 3 yellows to boot. I got a yellow Maitan so I was happy and I like the look.

Hobby box, a couple blasters, and a couple hanger packs and the best card I've pulled is a Gary Sanchez green #/99. Two forgettable autos or a color refractor of a Japanese WBC guy no one cares about are tied for second. Megaboxes either never made it here or got vacuumed up immediately.

I've bought somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 blasters. Bought like 10 early on and don't remember much more than a few colored papers and a couple paper autos. Came back to it this past weekend because I was sick of not finding mega boxes. Over 3 days cleaned out 2 walmart and a target totaling in 15 blasters. Between chrome and paper color averaged almost 2 per box, hit like 2 paper and 3 chrome autos (some colors in there) and hit 2 talent pipeline superfractors. So yeah, I'd say it's been better to me this year.

Probably immediately. The only time I saw any was when my Target got initially stocked and only because I was there when they were putting them out.

I pulled a green, a purple, and a gold shimmer parallel out of a single blaster last night -- last one on the shelves. Totally not what I was expecting.

I can't complain about retail. Two 1/1s & chrome green shimmer Eloy Jimenez auto among others. Lots of various color too. Spent about equivalent of two jumbo hobby boxes since release. (First 3 in pic are from the 6 mega boxes I found last week - no Otani). The one hobby jumbo box I did buy had chrome blue Yuli Gurriel & base Eloy & Tom Friedl autos.
