Default Best Thermal Printer for eBay/USPS labels?

Anyone have any recommendations for a good thermal printer to use with eBay and USPS labels?

Bonus points if your set-up works well on OSX too.

Thanks!

Bought a Dymno 4XL from Amazon.

Usually took me about 45 to 60 minutes to print off 12 shipping labels and packing slips, with all of the adding of paper, flipping, and dealing with paper jams from the labels.

Just printed off 12 labels and packing slips in under 10 minutes.

Why didn't I buy one of these sooner?

Finally caved in and ordered a Dymo 4xl. Question in general for thermal label printers. If I were to leave a label in my vehicle for a few hours in the dead of summer could that be hot enough to damage the label? I have noticed over the years that a couple of thermal receipts left on my dashboard in the summer have darkened.

I tried a thermal for a while, just not enough versatility for my purposes, wife does a lot of couponing. I use a Brother laser printer get about 2500 sheets per toner cartridge..

I've never seen that happen, and I live in Phoenix where the internal temp of a car might reach oven temperatures. On the dashboard, you can melt anything. But if it's not in direct sunlight you should be fine. I have seen thermal labels fade after a few years in storage, though.

Bumping an old thread with a new question.

I love my Dymo 4xl. It makes things so much easier when printing labels. One thing is that I can not print international labels on it, they still have to go through my regular printer. Paypal doesn't get rid of the empty half of the sheet of paper when it makes the label like it does with domestic shipping. Doing a web search the only thing I saw was people saving the label as a pdf, opening in Photoshop and then cropping it so it is the correct size. That seems like more work than it is worth.

Anyone figure this one out?

As far as I know, and this is just a guess on my part, international labels used to be printed with the customs papers to go in the plastic sleeves. I think this is more of a provider issue that's never been resolved.

I use the Dymo Labelwriter 450 Twin Turbo. It lets me print both standard address labels for my PWE shipments and Package/Priority Labels without having to change label rolls. It's saved me a ton of time.

New question. For a while now my labels are not centered. They are put in the upper left hand corner and the very top line of the label gets cut off and there is about 1/2" of blank space on the bottom. Don't see any option for centering a label and scaling it down didn't fix it because it keeps it in the upper left corner.
