I might be bias, but I would think the 2001 UD Graded Auto, it being a base set card and somewhat low numbered (/500), would fit in the top 5.

And it’s on card in pro uniform.

He also has a Topps Rookie Premier—on card as well.

what is your take on the donruss elite status /15? do you think that is a card to be mentioned in the same group as the bowman chrome gold, topps chrome, spx, dynagon hobby?

it's probably similar to the infinity quantum purple /15 but i've always been a sucker for the elite status

For my tastes I prefer pro unifomed issues...but I do fall for the low serial #'d rookies as well, just not as high on my list.

i think the allure of rarity helps them out a lot...... i saw one sell for 110 in 08 i think and then one for 300 last year for the status....... but that's basically chump change when you consider the chrome base /999 is selling 300-375 raw.. and literally 75 times more prevalent

My understanding, as well. I have the Reggie Wayne and it's easily my favorite card of his. Just a gorgeous looking card with an on-card autograph, from a well-respected set and it's limited in production. Can't go wrong, as long as the auto is clean. Many of them are faded.

i have been told that the vick was limited to /25 but the others were all to /50, /75 or /100 with no definitive stated run

beckett annual almanac does not speak to the print run, and whenever there is a stated /x amount of non serial numbered sets that almanac lists it

so the wayne/lt/brees.... definitely a mystery but i would say more than 25 just based on the fact i have seen 7 different brees in just the last 3 years between show and tell, shows, and ebay
