Default Best & Worst Concerts You've Been To

My favorite:

STP @ Lazerfest 2.0 (2009)

Tool @ Excel Energy Center (2017)

Foo Fighters @ Wells Fargo Arena (2017)

Can't say that I've personally been to a bad one hopefully that doesn't change as I'll be in Minnesota to see The Smashing Pumpkins this Sunday!

Hoping to hear some responses with people that were fortunate enough to see Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Sublime, etc.

Best (it's a toss up between these):

The Police Reunion with Foo Fighters Dodger Stadium in 2007

U2 360 with Slash/Black Eyed Peas at The Rose Bowl in 2009

Depeche Mode at The Hollywood Bowl in 2009

Prince Welcome2America at the Inglewood Forum in 2011 (all tickets if I recall correctly were $25, the show was 4+ hours of hit after hit after hit. Special guest was Alicia Keys)

The Cure Reflections Tour at The Pantages Theater in 2011 (they performed nearly 50 songs, this was Cure Heaven)

Worst

Depeche Mode Playing the Angel Tour at Staples Center in 2006 (Worst Seats and Staples is not a great venue for watching a band perform live) Dreadful

I'm not a fan of Rush, but dammit if this isn't the greatest response in the thread.

Best - Rock The Mic Tour (2003) - 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Bone Crusher, Chingy, and Obie Trice (D12 and Eminem came out during his set). Fabolous, Chingy, and Bone Crusher sucked but overall was my favorite concert. Snoop and Busta crushed it.

Worst - Fabolous (2005) - Was a free concert at my college but he is awful live.

Best- Shinedown/5FDP/Sixx AM/As Lions, The Struts/The Foo Fighters
Worst- Kansas

The Foo Fighters easily tops the list for me as the best concert. I honestly don't know if I'll see anything soon that competes with it.

Saw Kansas about 6-7 years ago. They didn't sound terrible, but it was so boring. We won free tickets so that's the only reason we went. It didn't help that the crowd was all 50+ years old.

Strangest Concert- Make America Rock Again 2016. All of these bands were there, and it was Sunday concert that started at I believe 4 in the afternoon-
Saving Able
Trapt
Crazy Town
Alien Ant Farm
Saliva
12 Stones
Tantric

It was only $15 per ticket and an hour away (living out in the boonies, that's pretty close for a concert). There were maybe 400-500 people there. The stage was pretty small and they all played anywhere from 3-6 songs each. Got over a little after midnight. By the time they changed equipment on the stage between each band it got to be a little long.

best is tough. I've been to a lot of small shows that were super fun, and I've been to some large music festivals that were also fun. One of the most fun was probably a local band, Marina City, who was just entertaining as hell and came out in the crowd and played acoustic for the final song

worst: probably Dropkick Murphys. I saw them twice at Riot Fest, and both times they put on a lame show that sounded bad. I'm over it and won't see them again.

Best: Pantera 1995 JAR U of Akron
Guttermouth 1996 at the Euclid Tavern
Rolling Stones 1994- Cleveland Municipal Stadium

Worst: Rise Against at Red Rocks 2010 I believe. Absolutely horrible band. Lead singer went on several rants about Capitalism and sticking up the the little guys. Yet, they were charging plenty for shirts and playing at one of the biggest venues. Somehow Rancid opened for them, which is a travesty. It was a free show for me. I can't stand Rise Against.

Best hands down the 2 times I saw GWAR in the 90s back when they still had storylines and reoccurring characters and not just killing random celebrities like they do now.

Best/Worst Candiria/Origin/Cryptopsy … it was bad because Candiria and some other straight edge band opened for Origin and Crytopsy so the crowed was half into it. It was a best because my friend and I ended up being pictured on Crytopsy's web page and in the liner notes for their Live cd.

Best/Worst Cradle of Filth/Nile why these 2 were on the same bill I have no clue.. never stood next to so many fat smelly goths in my life yelling "we love you Dani" and throwing black roses on the stage. Once Nile hit the stage the look of disgust on their faces while Nile did what they do best was why it was one of the best.

Worst Metallica/Guns N Roses - Went to see Faith No More open but they were in Europe shooting the video to small victory so I was stuck with Motorhead .. I love Lemmy but their music isn't as good as FNM. Metallica put on a great show as usual but GNR were an hour late to the stage and that long hour wait of not knowing what was going to happen lead to a few fights and a lot of angry people.

Best- ive seen em about 30 times with Scott but the best was....Stone Temple Pilots New Years Eve 2001. Hard Rock Live Orlando

Worst- any concerts a good concert really, but maybe a grumpy Otep playing in front of like 50 people at a bar cutting their set short too

Oh! And Bush , well, cuz theyre Bush and it was at the O-rena and they kept sticking Gavins giant head on the big screen. Vomit. And I had nosebleeds.
