Trimming on BO: Member Steven Tormollan = etheljean2014 on eBay & Proven Card Trimmer

He is, as he states, associated with psa.gems, the Kevin Burge and Keith Koenig trimming machine of years past.



After looking into him tonight, for the entirety of his duration here on BO, he has been looking for cards graded 9 or below or raw. He also frequently buys damaged cards. However, if it is too thick, he doesn't want it. Too thick to trim? Below is an example:



Looking at his For Sale threads, it is evident that he is etheljean2014 on eBay.

If you start running certs in the thread below, you will see that those scans have been used multiple times by etheljean2014 to sell copies of these cards on eBay:

I wouldn't expect him to be banned though. There's still another proven trimmer and a proven patch faker who are members here.


One card is all I needed to feel comfortable with posting, but I'll keep digging for a while. People need to stop editing out their sale threads after they sell cards though. Huge pain for me.

The amount of trimmed cards by him has to be a seriously high amount. There was a guy on here that claimed Tormollan was trimming, and pointed to a Google Groups forum post from the 90's.

He's just another rank and file member of the MD/NC trimming network.

The types of people I see at card shows makes me wanna vom. I’m not better than anybody, but there’s some straight up shady characters, and several missing a chromosome or two

Yeah...he bought a bunch of high-end 9s from me on eBay and noticed a few popped back up as higher grades. I never had proof, but this would explain a lot of true.

I always had a funny feeling about that guy just because of how arrogant he was in breaks and how he handled himself business-wise. Guess I was right. Amazing job by the OP. I hate shady people in this hobby.
