Default Josh Allen PC thread: where would I rank?

The last time I bought cards was in 1998 while I was in high school. This year I came out of retirement and went all in on Josh Allen.

Now that the year is done, here is what I have in my collection.

I’ve seen some insane collectors through social media but was wondering where a stash like this would rank amongst the big timers out there.

Either way, it’s been so awesome to reconnect with the hobby and make new friends along the way... enjoy

I think it’s probably safe to say you’re ranked #1. Some sweet looking cards, man. Do you have a favorite?

You're #1 in our hearts. The Supreme post-it note was a lovely touch.

Gotta say #1 unless someone has a horde of 1/1s

The select RPA /5 was hit during a break and I yelled out “LETS GOOOO” so loud that my young daughter ran into the room and asked “where are we going?” 🤣

That one is definitely up there just because of the story

Haha yeah let the guy who had the horde of Christian Hackenberg be a lesson.

Also agree I hope Allen ends up doing something for ya. Maybe if you are lucky he will somehow end up traded away from the Bills in 2020 and end up on a good well rounded team.

If I’m ranking, you have to be in the top, well, 3000?

I pc josh Allen as well. Your collection is a lot better than mine but you do not have the one card that would make me jealous: True RPA from NT (especially because of how many times I’ve tried to hit the card and damn near had it twice). Still mildly envious of the cracked ice though... your contenders pc is sick.

Yeah, that's the only thing that stood out to me was no NT. I love the Select though.

This one hurts, but I actually had a box of FOTL NT and decided to keep wifey on the good side and break it at a local trade night... a Josh Allen Stars and Stripes came out of the box 🤢

The $ from the box was able to fund the cracked ice contenders though. I even calculated the odds that there was a less than 5% chance that the box would yield an Allen vs a 100% chance that the $$ from the break would net a cracked ice. I played the odds 🤷🏽#@♂️

I do have some other ammo of rookies from this year to trade for a NT Allen but I feel like my collection is so deep investment wise that I don’t necessarily need to invest more for that one “missing brand” 😅

Ouch.
I see where you're coming from but my OCD would definitely have me trading some of those doubles for an NT. Hope he works out for you.

I feel for you on that one man; the stars and stripes RPAs are the best looking imo. Well since you shared your story I will share mine.

About a month ago I did a half case eBay break of NT with the Bills. Had pretty much given up on the product by this time as hardly anyone was breaking it anymore. I skunked on the first half so I waited all week for the second half break, I put in a maximum bid of $160 ($30 more than my WINNING bid in the first half, mind you) and to my surprise I end up losing the auction by $3 as the second place bidder.

Yep... you know what’s coming next... final card of the break is a nasty Allen RPA /17 which recently sold for $1700+ in auction.

I’ve had some tough luck with breaking as we all have, but this is the only time it still stings after a month. Probably because it has always been at the top of my Allen want list and the ship has already sailed for NT.

...so I shifted my focus to Flawless where I am also 0 for 10 cases in my search for ANY encased josh allen card!

Honestly every other product had been good to me.... until the two products that I had been anticipating the most! But at least I’ve had my moments and one thing that adds to the sentimental value of my Allen PC is that I got just about every one of them through group breaks (I think there are only 3 exceptions).

Oh man that’s tough!

I stopped watching Breaks that I lose via sniped on eBay by $1 since the time I watched a cracked ice Allen come out of a contenders 4 box break. I felt sick to my stomach and told myself never again.

The good thing about breaks is that when Josh allen was hurt the Bills could be had for low so I have a shoe box full of base cards that I plan on sending to PSA just hoping a lot of them GEM10 🤷🏽#@♂️

I know someone who has the first "L" from the Immaculate Nameplate Nobility Auto set if you ever find yourself trying to complete that one.
