Default PWCC Statement on Recent Card Trimming Concerns

We are obviously very aware of the issues surrounding the cards submitted to us by Gary Moser. First, we want to apologize to all those who have been affected by the purchasing of trimmed or altered cards. We are not disappearing or burying our heads in the sand about this. Next, we are presently working with both PSA and law enforcement to ensure that all affected cards are brought to light and this information makes its way to our customers. We understand that we are responsible for our part in this mess and will do all that we can to make it right in connection with Moser-submitted cards as well as other submitters who may have altered cards of which we auctioned. We understand how difficult it is to be patient through this process but we are working through this as quickly as we can at the direction of counsel and the appropriate authorities. Finally, in response to these recent findings, we are no longer selling any Moser-submitted cards.

We are very sorry for the trouble that has occurred and will work to regain your trust.

Please provide an explanation for each of these items. Thank you.

First, it looks like PWCC is still selling Gary Moser's (or Brent's?) altered cards:

Evidence starts at post #64 here: http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...=269583&page=2

Buyer beware!

______________________________________________________________________________________

I'll preface this post by saying that I suspect that whitman111 is jointly used by PWCC and Moser to purchase cards. I also suspect that at least some of these cards were accidentally purchased on the pwcc_auctions account as opposed to the whitman111 account. Below are six cards that were purchased by PWCC, altered, and sold by PWCC. I will show that at least four were altered by Gary Moser via whitman111. I'd also ask that particular attention is paid to the dates in this thread. PWCC has purchased cards to alter as far back as 2011. It likely goes back further too, but I simply haven't gotten there yet. The most recent card purchase from pwcc_auctions is circa 2014. This is not a new scheme.

Here are the archives of the pwcc_auctions ID (PWCC's only known eBay account) buyer feedback:

https://web.archive.org/web/20190527...rchInterval=30

https://web.archive.org/web/20190527...0&mPg=2&page=2

Identifying PWCC's buyer code:

Using links above, PWCC purchased an item from user jmas2073, who only has 6 feedback:

That user has left feedback for only one red shooting star account, u***p. That means this is PWCC's buyer code on Ebay (it is different on Vintage Card Prices):

Link: https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...rchInterval=30

Using the two link archives above, sellers who sold to PWCC can be identified. Using the feedback that the seller left for PWCC, the item that PWCC purchased can be identified. Using Vintage Card Prices, the seller name can be matched up with the card purchased and the grade to locate a picture of the item. Otherwise, Worthpoint can be used to find an exact title match to the purchased item. To link these cards bought and sold by PWCC to Gary Moser, the PSA website can be used to identify additional cards in that PSA submission. The PSA website or PWCC's auction archive will have photos of these cards. Next, Vintage Card Prices can be used to locate cards purchased by whitman111 in lower grade. If these two cards are the same, the submission can be linked to Gary Moser. The first four cards are in Gary Moser submissions. Linking back the fifth and sixth cards is still a work in progress.

There are many more altered cards in these PSA submissions, but all I'm going to post here for now is a single altered card purchased by PWCC and an accompanying card (altered or unaltered) in the same PSA submission that can be linked to Gary Moser.

My final note is that VCP links will not work if not logged in. I believe there are images of all relevant info from VCP included below.

Please provide an explanation for why these Moser cards are up for auction currently. A direct contradiction of your post.

If you are unwilling to comment on the altered cards your eBay account purchased then resold after alterations, I will be forced to conclude that you are worried any comment will self-incriminate.

You are not sorry for the trouble that has occurred. You are sorry you have been caught. I am very thankful that we have some intelligent and dedicated members here who have unearthed these concerning actions.

The audacity of the guilty parties to do this and think they would not be caught is just astonishing. We have nearly a decade worth of eBay sales at our disposal. You cannot beat the internet.

PWCC -- how to you explain the fact that many of these cards were purchased by PWCC and reappeared with alterations in PWCC auctions?

Also, why are Moser cards still being auctioned as we speak?

Brent you have been doing business with Gary for over a decade. I have at least 3 emails from you over that time from different years where you have told me you no longer work with him or no longer take his consignments. Anytime you have been called out for shill bidding, auction price manipulation, enhancing color in your scans or any other indiscretion you have denied it and spun it.

You are a liar and con. You need to refund anyone who has bought a card you have submitted and sold for you and Gary. You can start with all the cards contained in the 34 submissions I recreated that are filled with altered cards. If you do not want to admit to the thousands of other cards you have submitted for him I will be happy to start with another 20 cert runs which I know contain cards Gary bought and altered.

PWCC, Will you please cancel every one of your Ebay auctions ASAP? You are only making it worse by continuing to sell at this point.

One last question I would like answered.

By acknowledging law enforcement is involved, does that mean you are working with them by rolling on Moser?

PWCC, did you contact eBay to shut off the VCP information being used to out your fraud, or Bobby Binder directly?

PWCC, do you have inside men at PSA and BGS or are you and your trimmers scamming all by your lonesome? Basically, are the TPGs you trust COMPLICIT or INCOMPETENT?

I like that the thread title calls them "concerns". Nice attempt to downplay the seriousness of the fraud that has been committed.

And their claim to be working with law enforcement I would take with a grain of salt.

So why is PWCC still selling anything on eBay or any other site until you are able to 100% confirm you are NOT selling modified or fraudulent items?
