Just received this email response from Rick after sending him yet another trimmed card that he's selling. He stopped taking down trimmed cards he's selling about two weeks ago. Go sell your trimmed cards boys!

How could/would PSA recall the card? A TPG has no standing to do so. They relinquished that right when it left their possession.

I stopped bidding on his stuff right around the time I stopped with PWCC.

The right response would have been "I'll take it down and send it back to the consignor."

Rick is a greedy, selfish, rat bast*rd whose only concern is money. He doesn't care in the least if his customers end up with altered, sh*tty cards. It's your problem. Or PSA's problem. Not his.

I believe he was taking them down and returning to consignor for a short period. Too bad he turned to the devil. He could’ve received much more business IMO if he continued to do the right thing. He’s now in the same category as PWCC... the trash bin.

Probstein could choose to stop selling graded cards. He's part of the problem too.

Don't go by me. Unfortunately, I believe I stopped bidding on a lot of consignors on ebay
that include the big sellers like PWCC, Probstein, Novella, Greg Morris, and a bunch
of others for vintage. I'm sure some are good and reputable with great product offerings.
But I got enough stress in my life and don't need the hassle of not knowing where
the cards are coming from. Add that and the fact there is plenty of other ways to get
solid cards, my wallet had no trouble making adjustments going forward.

Maybe if those in the hobby were more proactive with their response and they gave
us a better warm and fuzzy it wouldn't come to this. But I haven't seen our card market
leaders show me anything other than reacting to what BODA puts out there.

Weak.

All the slabs and labels are fraudulent. The cards may or may not be. How you insert your person into that is a matter of your own opinion.

PSA graded cards don't sell themselves. The auction houses are part and parcel.
