Exclamation Andy Tuttle; Marco Island, FL, Ebay: consignmints, is a CARD DOCTOR (all PSA graded)

Andrew Douglas Tuttle
Residence: Marco Island, Florida
Dealer Name: Consignmints and Consignmints.com
Ebay selling ID: consignmints
Other Ebay IDs used by Tuttle: thenatureboy-2010 (b***b on VCP); superbowlauctions2 (e***i on VCP)
Masked VCP buying ID for thenatureboy-2010: b***b (does not use consignmints ID to buy)

Ebay feedback received as a seller: over 68,000
Ebay feedback left for others (better gauge of sales): over 83,000

44 year old Andy Tuttle has been a prolific submitter of cards to PSA for grading for years. Once his buying ID was discovered, trimmed cards were easy to locate since they were mostly sold through his Ebay store consignmints. It's not known how many were sold through his website Consignmints.com. Through research as far back as 2006, consignmints has been linked to Andy Tuttle. I have found trimmed cards as far back as 2014 being sold by consignmints, also purchased with the same masked VCP ID of b***b.
Tuttle is a prolific submitter of cards to PSA and has been for years.
As with other outed card doctors, anything sold by Andy Tuttle and consignmints should be in question. He has sold over 80,000 cards through his Ebay store since 2002.

Of Note: Andy's brother, Joseph Bertee (Joe) Tuttle, is on the Anonymous PSA “Insider” Trimmer List here: http://www.sportscardradio.com/anony...-trimmer-list/

Another day, another outed card doctor. At this point, anything in a TPG slab is suspect. Meanwhile, PSA is transitioning to digital submissions. Gotta streamline the process and get the endless supply of trimmed cards graded as quickly as possible.

Never get cheated.

Wasn't Andy Tuttle a PSA grader at one point?

I also don’t know why anyone would pay more than ten bucks over raw for them.

Andy Tuttle has had close associations with other card doctors for quite some time and has been caught selling altered cards as far back as 2005:

Yes.

Between former PSA graders and current/former PSA Authorized dealers, one could put together a pretty comprehensive list of card molesters.

That's probably worth 100 outed cards.

Consignmints, according to testimony from some collectors, was also involved in the distribution of quantities of sheet-cut cards through Beckett:

I know. Not a huge revelation but there it is.

Reading some of these old threads on the PSA boards is very enlightening.

What I found most amusing is that many of the posters have since had their accounts shut down. "User banned - please carry on" logos abound on the PSA boards, including from guys with thousands of posts and over 10 years on the forum. I doubt they were trolling. Probably a little constructive criticism and the hammer fell.

Never get cheated.

As far as I can tell, consignmints is Andy Tuttle by himself.

Did his brother Joe sell under a different ID?

Looks like the PWCC lawyer (Jeffrey Lichtman) was talking about the Tuttle's and consignmints, back in 2009. Also provided a few possible associated eBay accounts.
https://net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=112668

"Looking closer at this auction, it's pretty clear to me that 'consignments' is a crooked operation."
"Tuttle (rockbottomsports, consignmints, jtcards, etc.)"
"the seller is a former PSA grader, a former auction house employee, and was at one time one of PSA's highest volume submitters."
Another ebay fraudster to avoid: "consignments."

That thread and the one it links to are flush with irony. Consignmints started with selling quantities of trimmed cards in CSA holders...but that resulted in negative feedback from customers complaining about trimmed cards. That poor reputation was rehabilitated, however, when Consignmints started sending those same trimmed cards directly to PSA and getting 8s and 9s. Problem solved!

It's a bummer that eBay scrubs all their old auctions, it would be fascinating to see how the bidding went on those old items back in the day.
