Default When do retail stores stop stocking basketball?

Relatively new to collecting, at least being in it.

I caught Zion fever a little late unfortunately, due to financial circumstances. Long story short, I've been going around, two weeks ago, I figured out when Excell marketing stocks the 3 local Targets that have a card section.

The employees have no idea. I haven't seen Prizm in retail since before Christmas, and Optic up until a couple weeks ago.

I noticed they brought in plenty of baseball, about 3 weeks ago, since then the basketball has died down.

Any long time collectors have any more insight into when they typically rotate out of basketball and into baseball?

Hey,

Thanks for the reply! I've been that lucky guy who gets there as they're taking photos, but no luck!

About a month ago I did hit 9 blasters and 78 hanger packs of Optic.

Got lucky twice but I haven’t seen anything in about three weeks. I wouldn’t call cards “essential”. Are reps even working? Are stores getting any type of stock?

I ran into a guy who was contracting for Excell, basically told me if nobody will do it in the area, that nothing gets put out unless Target employees have time. It's not actually a "target" department just like the clip strips you find in some grocery store aisles.

I know guys, no meaning to feel sorry for me, not coming off as bragging about it either. Just genuinely wondering since this is my first basketball season back into collecting.

If you don’t find any more basketball in the wild, you’ll still have found more than 99% of us. I know multiple people who have only found a random contenders or donruss pack here and there. Or some haven’t found anything.

I haven’t found much of anything outside of regular donruss. But I’ve been really lucky with those like 20 blasters and 200 fat packs. I consider myself hella lucky
