I think they'll still be a non-playoff team. The arms are terrific but they're offensively inept.

I'm an A's fan, I buy for my collection but never for investment, I find the A's to be horrible for that, they are young, and their pitching is fantastic, I believe they have a good chance at the playoffs but I don't believe it will reflect much in the hobby, almost never does.

They'll be in it for a while no doubt...not sure if they are better than the Angels or Rangers at this point though.

HOW ARE THE RANGERS THE FAVORITE?

They have NO arms except Wilson and we'll see after a career year if he can do it again

The Angels have no closer, no depth, and suspect starting pitching AT BEST

The A's had the 2nd best starting staff in the AL last year and #1 bullpen. They signed Balfour and Fuentes to make it the best in baseball. The starters are all a year older and wiser. The offense is better with more proven bats (DeJesus, Matsui, Willingham) and more depth. If they score 3 runs a game, they'll win 90

I'm stocking up on Anderson. Cahill and Gio too. Cahill and Anderson will win 20 this year and Gio could win 15 easy. Braden is our 4th pitcher. You telling me we won't win the division? You got ur head up ur #@#@#@ if you do

They have just as much now as the Giants did last year and they won the d@mn Series. A's have the complete pitching to dominate; A's won't need much 'O'
