ALTERT: Ebay user will_hauser forging Panini autograph certification

Figured I'd start a new thread for this one, since this is a new type of forgery I've never encountered before. It appears as though ebay user will_hauser is not only adding fake sticker autos to base cards, but also printing fake certification from Panini directly onto the card.

Here's an example of some of his handiwork. This is a normal base card with a fake sticker attached to the front:



Many of you will have seen these types of forgeries before, but what makes this one unique is that the back has been altered with fake certification from Panini:



Some of the cards he's forging do actually have autographed parallels, which makes it even more confusing for potential buyers. Here's a copy of a real Mahomes autograph parallel with the correct certification from Panini:



And here's the back of one of Will's altered base cards with the fake certification added:



I'm not sure if Will is the only one doing this or if there are others peddling these sort of fake autos on ebay, but it's something to be aware of. Just because a card says it's certified by Panini on the back, doesn't necessarily mean it is...

Also the other auto jersey items he's selling seems to have a fake COA so he seems to be a bad seller all around.

his past sales look fake as well. the luca doesn't have the auto language on the back of the card. also the "redemption seal" is not correct?

The stickers are not generic and actually say "PANINI AUTHETNIC" on them. The only generic sticker is the one holding closed the one-touch.

yup you guys are right. The first one I saw was the generic but he he's using Panini stickers too

That Morant sticker does say Panini. He must peel, wipe and re-stick. I think the anti-tamper one touch seals are an awful red flag. This stuff is slightly better than that stuff superbreak sells.

Made a thread about this guy a little while back that gained little traction. He's been doing 10's (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars worth of fraudulent sales auto'ing generic cards with a 'tamper proof' hologram on Mercari and most likely on other smaller venues as well.

It looks like either he closed his account or Mercari shut him down.

Nothing but counterfeit reprint 86 jordans, 84 stars, mantles, etc...auto'd or raw and sold as original in those one touches with holograms for hundreds/thousands of dollars. And selling.

Custom Kobe, Jordan, Jeter logoman and patch cards that he pawned off as game worn.


Then of course the base Panini cards of Zion, Lebron, Mahomes, Ja, Brady, and the rest that featured the worst forged autos known to mankind.

Endless people kept falling for it.


If Panini filed a lawsuit against the 'Rated Rookie' boi....I'm sure they would be more than interested in pursuing this fine young gentlemen for all the fraud he's committing using real Panini cards.

Someone should reach out before he morphs and migrates.

I wouldn't report until multiple people reach out to Panini first. Make sure the evidence is still there.
