I did one last year that did not get much traction. With the excitement around our young core and now the signing of Springer, it’s time for all Blue Jay fans to have a thread to document our upcoming World Series win (this year or next)!

I LOVE the team that they’ve put together. They’re going to be good for a long time

That Springer signing, Brantley being rumoured and Trevor Bauer a real possibility makes this an exciting year for Jays fans. I’m hoping Vlad’s conditioning pays off and this lineup is even more lethal than it already looks.

That Yates signing is overshadowed by Springer but if he can return to form it definitely a major plus for the pen. Feel pretty good with Ryu and Pearson but Ray in the sky dome worries me still. Hopefully we get one more arm.

I hope we don’t sign Bauer. Not worth the money he’s asking but more importantly seems like he wouldn’t be a good clubhouse guy and based on last year, that is huge for these guys. I’m good with Brantley coming and trading Grichuk and a prospect for pitching. They should sign Walker back too as I think he would be great for our starting 5

Now we just need to trade Grichuk/Fisher for a starting pitcher

Trade Grichuk but not Lourdes. You want to keep Teo and Lourdes to keep the crew together. Randall is odd man out.

Teoscar should be the opening day RF. Lourdes has experience playing the middle infield. Perhaps he can play 3B, or have him play 2B and move Biggio to 3B.

Could have Teo as prime DH and rotate in the OF when required. Keep Lourdes, Springer and Brantley there. Trade Grichuk!

No Brantley as he signs with Astros. This is good as we trade Grichuk still and keep Gurriel/Springer/Teoscar as our outfield.

I’m 1000% fine with keeping Grichuk as long as they put the money they would’ve used for Brantley into getting a solid SP

Keith Law’s Top 100 (from Reddit)
• 5. Nate Pearson - "If he can stay healthy, there are very few starting pitching prospects who can match his stuff and size, which give him the ceiling of a No. 1 starter." • 14. Austin Martin - "This bat at a skill position is pretty unusual and gives him some MVP upside, although we should be a little cautious since he has yet to take a pro at-bat." • 79. Alek Manoah - "He does have to keep his body in shape, but if he stays healthy he should be in the Blue Jays’ rotation within the next two seasons, with mid-rotation upside." • 92. Alejandro Kirk - "His bat will make him a longtime regular as a catcher, with a chance to be a star if he keeps his body in shape for it." • 98. Orelvis Martinez - "He has an enormous ceiling as a strong OBP guy with 25-30 homers and plus defense at third. We just need to see how the bat plays at higher levels." |

What’s the chatter in Toronto about where the Blue Jays will play their home games?
From what I’ve read, it sounds like they might have to play in Dunedin, or possibly back in Buffalo. Are they by chance trying to work with the Canadian government on a protocol to allow them to play in Toronto? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
