I remember long time ago going to a big show and one dealer had 100's of Gretzky/Jordan graded rookies. I wanted to barf.
After the junk wax era collapse the two GOAT cards were half the value of what they were at their peak around 91' or so. It was fairly easy to scoop up these cards from panicked collectors who remembered the peak and feared the valley would descend lower.

You’re smacking of desperation in a hobby that contains literally hundreds of millions of cards for sale that will sell for a fraction of what they did earlier in the year… and saying six or so cards are all that really matters.

You’re also trying to hide that you’re switching gears from your earlier position where everything was “everything’s up, buy and invest in everything because it will never come down”.

As was predicted last year, your brand-new position will be to “only buy what we serious investors will buy” because these cards will never come down and we’ll collude together to keep those prices up as a last stand!”

The investing and flipping shtick gets old - deny, exaggerate, deny, exaggerate, misdirect, deflect.

It’s just very nice to have inexpensive cards and fewer flippers spouting off self-serving advice.

You telling me I'm not going to get rich on the PSA 9 Lux base I bought for a few bucks each?

My opinion continues to be accurate and I wouldn't change a thing.

He was wrong, it happened a lot sooner.
Can't even hold it for a year.
Pathetic.

I don't care what anybody says about Vegas Dave. A judge of character is the quarterbacks you invest in. And for him to double, hell even triple down on derek "system quarterback" carr is all you need to know.

The smartest people admit when they're wrong.

It's honestly hard to say how he did/is doing.

IIRC he bought in the year before they moved to Vegas.

At the time, I don't think Carr's hobby interest/value couldn't get any lower. I don't know a single soul that was discussing him, as it was looking more and more like he wouldn't even be the starter for the Raiders.

I'm sure he moved a large chunk of them over the course of the past 2 seasons, probably several at a good profit. He's an influencer, and just as there are cucks that continue to pay for this 'daily sports picks' even after continuously being exposed, there will be those that continue to pick up whatever player/cards he shills.

I don't think he hit paydirt on Carr, but I also don't think he lost his pants either. At the end of the day, his entire life and financial investments are house money from his scummy endeavors.

i think he bought up Carr after that 13-3 season when he broke his leg, that's when he started hogging them up.

i know because he bought one from me, a NT rookie that i originally purchased before that season for $300 and ended up selling to Vegas Dave for a solid profit.

When do you plan to unveil the next profile pic, Ninja? Feels like you've been on this one for quite a while and it's getting stale

it is unfortunate, but even if the guy lost every penny he spent on Carr he is still a multi millionaire. Going to take an FBI raid for him to get in actual trouble.

Hell I wonder how his “virtual” real estate venture is going. Haven’t heard of any of the Metaverse islands virtual ocean front condos in months lol
