Your thoughts on StarStock?
So about a year ago, I asked you guys about your thoughts on COMC. Soon after, I jumped into COMC and I've been enjoying it ever since (aside from shipping and submission delays). Lately, I've been hearing a lot about StarStock. In fact, I've even heard about some people abandoning COMC for StarStock (or preferring StarStock over COMC). Although, it is probably best to use both. With that said, I am currently watching videos about StarStock, but I would also like to hear your experience with it if any.

Starstock 0 Kam Chancellors and the hottest player Mahomes has a whopping 8 cards. This is small time. Sportlots is better than both.

They are focused on current player rookie cards accepting only certain sets. Scope is too limited for my tastes but they aren't catering to collectors, only investors/flippers. https://www.starstock.com/faq. Aside from buzz words, I fail to see how they are providing something game changing that can't already be done by COMC.
I think they missed the boat on the company name. CardStock would have been much more appropriate. Cause, y'know, sports cards are printing on card stock and they are treating cards like stocks by invoking terms like "portfolio" and "day-trade" and "invest". Quote:

I like the format but I currently have 5 submissions in with them and they are not transparent at all on the status and where you sit in the que. They need to improve customer submission feedback rather than creating more indexes and some of the other things they are doing. As someone said above, they need more cards on the site. Expediting uploading should be the priority. I have another 1000+ cards I want to submit but don't have a lot of faith in processing time. Feels a bit like PSA......

StarStock is fantastic for certain situations. I had too many cards in my closet and was trying to free up some space. Sent a few thousand in of cards that really wouldn't be worth the effort of selling as singles.
They got them logged in a reasonable amount of time, and I was able to offload a lot of them extremely fast, which added up quickly. When I cashed out, they had it sent to my paypal within an hour. Also, appreciate that they offer a submit to grading option (which apparently their first few subs popped shockingly fast. Not sure if it was a 2 time coincidence or if they have something worked out with PSA).
