Default 2021 Panini Mosaic UEFA Euro 2020 - What Are People Chasing?

Beautiful Set! What are people chasing with this set? What are the top RC's people are chasing? I think this could be a "sleeper" set down the road ... I see it is overpriced ... but some opportunities? Thoughts?

I grabbed some England cards, just base, refractors.

If there are sleepers, I will admit, I'm sleeping on them.

To me it felt a good set to collect a base set, your country and then.... not much from there. Colour also falls far, far too rarely. Numbered cards were coming out of case breaks at a rate of 3 or 4 a box, so I'm not sure how attractive that will be for future.

Zero long term potential. It’s a third tier chrome product that will get lost in the shuffle over time. But if you like it as a collector, that’s great.

I 100% completely and totally agree with both YayNJ and Khal, this is a third tier set that is far behind Topps Chrome UEFA and Panini Euro/World Cup.

I decided I wanted to complete this set so I traded for two retail boxes today because you get a lot of cards. I agree this is a collector's set, but it is fun to open something.

I don't know if I beat the odds, but these seem to be the most rare cards out of the two boxes. Two purple florescent Auto's and two Genesis parallels. I also have 4 other purple florescent parallels #/70. I haven't gone through everything yet, but there are a TON of parallels and RC's.

The Inzaghi is #/49 and the Guerreiro is #/25.

I personally prefer what Topps is putting out in comparison to Panini on Soccer cards across the board.

I bought a blaster along with a merlin, and it was disappointing not buying anymore. Topps Merlin is a better buy if you see both,

Same set over and over again every year.

CL CHROME, CL SAPPHIRE, BUNDESLIGA CHROME, BUNDESLIGA SAPPHIRE CHROME AND DON'T FORGET MORE CHROME.

Rinse. Repeat.
Next year big ballar akoi koi Sapphire 3D Chrome Mars edition.

If anyone thought Panini was bad Topps took it to another level.

Maybe its a bit of overkill... but everything is selling above retail. Blasters are hitting $50. Sapphire UEFA is holding up around $350-400 and Sapphire Bundy is right around $275-300.

The demand is there and the products are superior to Panini soccer.

Erm no.

A great deal of topps output is niche, extremely niche or just downright completely offensive garbage.

Lets not kid ourselves that people genuinely love the Bundesliga. They don't. It was in the right place at the right time.

Topps Chrome Champions League / Sapphire are superb, however the best set in recent years is still the Donruss 18-19.

Anything soccer/basketball/football is selling above retail.
All these products came out higher and dropped so demand is not that great.

There's nothing superior about bad designs and sticker autos...

Panini has had Immaculate, National Treasures, Flawless, Eminence, Noir, Impeccable, Chronicles, Obsidian, etc.

Topps has nothing but Chrome and trash.

Topps has terrible inserts also.

Panini sucks but at least they have Color Blasts, Stained Glass, etc.

Panini was stupid for doing Select Euro then Mosaic Euro.

All these companies are the worst.
If you could make every worst move possible that's what they do.
