Default Sony Michael to Rams

Think this could help his value, Patriots never seemed committed to the run.

Pats always use like 3 RB's and the dude didn't seem to stay on the field, weather it was injury or not being able to pick up a blitz/block. Looks like this will increase Stevenson's value.

Didn't Sony have a pretty horrific surgery a couple of seasons ago? It seemed like he had lost a step or two.

Cleveland will always owe a debt of gratitude to New England for taking Michel at #31

There was a lot of smoke that the Browns wanted him at #33 or #35 if he was there

He’s had problems since high school.

I wasn’t aware of Sony “Walkman” Michael ever having value…

Ha ha, maybe when he was drafted! I watched him when he was at Georgia and thought he would be a decent NFL RB..

His knees were bad coming out of college. He was a bad pick at the time with his injury history.

He's been a useful back grabbing 4.7 Y/A. Doesn't put the ball on ground very often but hasn't been much involved as much in the passing game for whatever reason.

He should do fine in a platoon role.

Dominated the 2018 playoff run and scored the Super Bowl winning touchdown. I think the pick was well worth it.

Yup.

Much smarter to take a guy who had one good stretch of games and couldn’t stay healthy over Nick Chubb. Heck Bill could get a RB off the scrap heap to have a good stretch of games.

Bad pick and he didn’t survive til the end of his first contract. Not good value for a 1st round pick.

Drafting a RB in the first round in the modern NFL is an absolutely horrendous decision no matter how good he ends up

Cam is the starter. Nothing can take that away from him.

Ah yes, the age old losers mentality of choosing stats over rings!

Cam has been naughty lately...don't think Bellycheat is very happy with him.

No way. We could have used that pick on Darius Leonard, Courtland Sutton, Dallas Goedert, or Jessie Bates, all of whom would have been much better selections than Michel. Just because Michel had a good playoff run at a position where we could have survived with any decent back, doesn't justify the pick.

Monday Morning QB stuff...and Indy could have used a first round pick on Brady just like Polian said he was going to...

The point is the Pats drafted him and immediately won a Super Bowl in large thanks to his contributions. Thankfully Bellycheat has done a great job in drafting at the RB position lately that he became expendable.

Does it suck that he couldn't stay healthy? Of course! But I'd much rather have the ring then a guy who is a ringless stat monster...
