If you still get 12 purple or better autos per case (memory serves that was normal last year), I'll take the 120 autos! I tucked away everything I opened last year, never know if the next Mookie Betts is laying in the weeds...a guy who likely would have missed the cut if the checklist was 50-60 deep.

Draft Sapphire hasn't had autos before, so probably just staying with the same format. I for one prefer the no-auto format.

It's dumb not to. Same cost to them for the signature. Maybe a little added cost with stock/pattern. But huge perceived value increase.

Because of this I just went down a rabbit hole on the cost of holographic underlays. Thanks

(Should note -- while many of the patterns we can find by google search -- in rolls -- match, I don't know the process perfectly well so I don't know if they're using something very similar to these, or something else.)

Carson Williams did a AMA on Twitter today and said this about signing cards. (Not a confirmation any were for Topps):

He also said his favorite baseball movie is Trouble with the Curve....think I'm bumping him down a few spot in my Draft ranks for that one.
