Great idea!
Keep us updated on thefts, jerks and awful dealers as well!

Sounds like it's going to be a blast!

From Atlantic City Post Courier:

Officials recommend tickets be purchased online as 80,000 to 90,000 people are expected to attend over the course of the week.

“We hit 100,000 years ago, I don’t know if we can physically pass that, but it’ll be in the top 3 of the shows we’ve done,” said Ray Schulte, the National Sports Collectors Convention Director of Communications. “… Our online sales for general admission have far exceeded our expectations for the year. We sold out of VIP badges and passes. We very seldom have done that. We know it’s going to be huge. We do encourage people to buy general admission tickets online so they don’t have to wait to buy in line.”

Looking at some videos, while it is very massive indeed there seems to be a ton of spaces for things I won't really be interested. Like this breakers pavilion looks pretty big and I have no desire to spend hundreds of dollars in breaks.

My dad has been walking around since about 9-10 this morning.

Has sent A LOT of pics and the prices are just, WOW...
Double, even triple eBay...

I knew it was going to be a lot of showing off, museum style stuff, but I'm not sure if people are there to actually sell or what...

We haven't been there in 4 years and he's seen a lot of the same stuff still sitting with the same dealers at the same (or even higher) prices than before we saw the last time...

Good luck to anyone who is there, looking forward to reading other people's stories...

Curious if those are cards are cases cards. My hope is that the value boxes are cheaper because chances are that is all I am going to find what I like for

Seeing some good wrestling at the show?

I sent him with a pretty specific "want list" of graded cards (Gretzky, Jerry Rice, Ichiro), so I'd say they are "case cards".

He has sent me zero wrestling unfortunately , but way more autographed Funko pops than I expected...
