Dang, could they have picked someone better than Dominguez. Article likely won't age well.

I mean I know he isn't the second coming of jesus, but he is one of the most high profile names in the industry right now, who at 19 did put together a solid enough season

.273/.376/.461/.837 across A+/A/AA, 16 HR, 59 RBI, 37 SBs

That article should scare the heck out of collectors. Guy who made money in private equities has a collection worth over $100 million, and he openly talks about how he and Ken Goldin pushed the private market greatly in the last 3.5 years. Nothing bad will happen when someone spends $400k on an 18 year old prospect, and openly states he is not in it to make money. Anyone know if this is the “buyer” of the pair of Jordan rookies at $738k on the same night and same auction Would explain a lot of things.

ESPN is 30 years behind. This started with Brien Taylor in 1992.

What surprises me is that with this being a real thing, and the card companies responding by increasing the product, a guy like Steven Kwan makes it all the way to the majors with no cards at all.

We collectively could have told of better prospecting success stories than this, but awareness is good I suppose.

But yeah, that Shyne dude looks like a grade A Ahole

Perhaps a bit off topic, but the second coming would make a great Topps Now card.

Also, I've done a lot of wrong things in my life and feel the best way to rectify that is to start collecting Jesus trading cards. What card is most widely considered the Big Guy's rookie card?

His debut was pre-2006, so I'm guessing his accepted rookie card does not have the RC logo?

If I run across a cut signature I'll let you know.

Sweet! I knew I could count on you guys. I'm assuming I will be priced out of the relics, so the cut signature sounds like the way to go.
