I thought PSA and Goldin were already part of the same company. And that same company just bought SGC, no?

Yes that is correct, Collectors owns Goldin and PSA, and now SGC.

Article says the below

My friend Mike-JWH did a great video on some other news and whispers he's heard. I can confirm that I have had sources tell me they have heard that Goldin Auctions is being sold, most likely to a large online marketplace. Enjoy the video...

Collectors bought Goldin not long ago and dumping it already. Is Goldin no longer profitable?

They might be very profitable, which is a reason to sell ( or keep ). You can win either way as an owner of a profitable company

Was this all just gossip trash or is it really happening? A Twitter post is hardly proof 😂

Talking hypotheticals on SCN podcast, they brought up eBay as someone with enough capital to acquire companies in the card space. Don't know how Goldin would fit in with them but just throwing that out there.

Rovell said he's going back on SCN first week of April to break some news. Could be related. Hopefully not an April Fools joke

No idea. Just found it interesting that SCN brought up eBay in a separate convo about acquisitions...not sure if it could be related to Goldin

Disaster coming - ebay going to be worse than collectors (Not that I actually use Goldin) - Nat Turner probably needed some cash. Upcharges not getting enough revenue for PSA.

Rubin has no clue what he is doing. Guy is just hemorrhaging money

Rubin’s only concern is boosting revenue before the IPO later this year.

The Goldin/eBay marriage would be a union of the two worst customer service departments in the entire hobby. Why eBay insists on managing the auction business themselves is beyond me. So much easier to let everyone else do it for you.

True. I would not think there's a way Goldin could get worse, but I imagine eBay will somehow find a way.

If correct, ken provided some great sound bites about ebay in this prior discussion about eBay previously having interest in GA.
