CGA grading company

Is CGA card grading legit ? I bought a Tom Brady on card auto that is authenticated by CGA and it also has a VSauthenitics sticker on the back of the card. I figured I would take a chance and send to PSA . I did the quick opinion with PSA and it came back likely not genuine.

CGA is not legit. They started in 2023 and right now you can grade 200 cards for $725 with free shipping. $3.63 a card from a new company.

There are a few other companies using the abbreviations CGA out there. Does yours have subgrades on it? If so, that is that company grading for dollars.

Grading a card is not the only reason for using a grading company. It is for authentication. My logic is if I am buying a Tom Brady autographed card that is highly faked, I would trust PSA over CGA. If you think giving an accurate grade to a fake card is good grading, then go ahead and buy expensive cards in CGA holders.

You sure? Most CGA in-person autos seem to be 'authenticated' by Boss AS with no proof, and the Brady, Manning, Mahomes, Kobe, etc autos seem to go for a fraction of what they should.

Anyone here still waiting on CGA CARDS? He has 300 of mine. In 6 months, I spoke with him by phone 8 times. 3 weeks ago, he agreed to grade them all if I bought the slabs, which he gets for roughly 75 cents each. I sent him $100 for slabs to move 100 of the 300. He sent back 10. I complained. He sent 50 more. He stole my money. Then, final straw, I asked, come on man, what is it going to take and he tried to extort $500 more when I already paid for all of them and even offered to buy the slabs.

Sunday, I filed a consumer complaint with the Kentucky AG. It's more of a mediation process. But they told me if they got 5-6 in a week, it would trigger an actual investigation.

I need to recruit 5-10 customers who have still not received their cards. Anyone who paid upgrade fees would be big ones.

Over time, owner Jeromy Myles told me too much. He told me about his expenses & how many he has graded and how many he has not graded.

Basic math, I calculated he grossed $300k in less than 2 years if his claim of grading 60,000 cards is correct; that doesn't count paid subs he had not graded, which he told me was 12,000 ungraded, so that's another $50k

I knew something was wrong in late summer 2024. I was getting subs back but trickles of 25 here, 10 there, most was 50. I continued to send cards, my bad, and none were coming back.

Then, he posted a bizarre FB video, and that's when #@#@#@#@ hit the fan.

Now, around easter 2024, he had a sale and brought in some $25k in a weekend! That following weekend, he has FB pics of being at Disney with his wife and kids, on boat tours with dolphins, etc. Been to Disney 4x with my family of 4 and it's always a $10k trip total

He bought a Green Egg grill for $1500. All while posting he was making no money, which morphed into "if you want your cards back, then you need to pay a $2 upgrade fee." People did, and he failed to fill this already paid orders. He pocketed some and used some to grade others. He had a few guys sending weekly that got hundreds back each month when no one else did.

This man made at least $100k net in 2024 and squandered it all. Then, two weeks ago, he posted another infamous video where this moron actually says those who want their raw cards back can ask but he will not be refunding. That's mail fraud and other felonies and he knows this

He got the AG COMPLAIN TODAY AND THIS WAS HIS TEXT:

"You think I wanna do anything for you after this #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@? You don’t know how much money was made and how it was spent. Just making things up off the top of your head? Spent money on spring break? What the #@#@#@#@ are you talking about? Don’t contact me anymore you two faced piece of #@#@#@#@."

I need folks to DM me or email me queencitycards716@gmail.com willing to file AG CONSUMER complaints to trigger a criminal investigation.

How on earth did you send 300 cards to a company that makes you buy the slabs they are going to use for your cards? Maybe sometimes people know what they are talking about when they say stay far away.

Now, I must point out: this part bolded above here is simply not accurate.

He may have made that much, ~100k net, in paid grading fees... but he also netted MUCH more selling a lot of the cards people submitted for grading, giving them to friends to sell, future sells of those cards, etc.

Just sayin.



(but yeah, in all seriousness, call your ccard company to debate + chargeback anything you can... if you did ppal ff or other pays, you are up a creek, GLuck... learn the lesson and move on, YankeeFox)

This is what caused my shock face. 300 cards!! That is a lot to send just to try somebody out. Then he okayed to give more money to pay for the slabs. What?? That is part of the grading fees. Either grade them or send them back to me and refund me my money if you can't get slabs.

You didn't read what I wrote. I can't answer a question that is based on something that is not entirely true. We had an agreement that to get my cards back because he claims he has no money, I would buy the slabs to finish those orders. There were no new orders. I stopped in December.
