Anyone did this last year? How did it go?
I'm thinking of potentially doing this, but not sure if it's worth bringing the card to Cleveland. $10K value minimum. https://x.com/natsturner/status/1803...7Ctwgr%5Etweet If it does cross, how much do they charge to slab it? Last edited by messier2; 06-19-2024 at 03:33 PM. |

He probably should just focus on not damaging cards and crack free slabs.

If the card is a 10K card in a bgs/shc/cgc slab, it should still be a 10K card in a PSA slab. The hobby has made the problem worse because of the perceived added value because of the red and white slab. Just leave it in your current slab and enjoy the card. Why give away your money?

Just to be clear, I am not paying anything if I choose not to "PSA-it". Nat will come out and say, it's a PSA 10, want to slab it? If I say, yes, then I pay. If I say no, then I keep the card and walk away. So, I feel it's all good on my end just to get an opinion from a PSA grader. Just hate walking around with a card of that value! |

As to how much they charge to slab it, it's likely the same as the on-site grading fee that they usually publish like two weeks before the show starts.
Here are the numbers from last year: https://www.psacard.com/articles/art...rading-pricing |

Yes, you have to pay if you send it in. The "Nat" special at the "Nat" provides you with a free look and you choose if you want to cross it or not (if it meets your minimum grade requirement). You have full control!

As for mine, yes. Min grade with 9 for corners became 10/10. I am ecstatic to say the least!

![]() I know, that is shocking, but I can't stand them being "trapped" in BGS holders anymore. I used to be pro BGS due to their subgrades, but now any card I pickup or want to keep, it's PSA all the way. The lines at the National were not even comparable. PSA was busy everyday, BGS (at least the times I passed by) had people on line all the time, but nothing like the PSA line. It is dying a slow death...waiting for Fanatics or someone to buy them out of their misery
