2024 Topps Tier One…???

Maybe I’m just missing it, but I don’t see a thread for Tier One. Is there really that little interest in a new product that dropped today?

This is priced at $300 a box? Insane. Box prices still not reflecting economic reality.

How so? They appear to be sold out online. Whether they come back in stock later or not, how do you tell a company that can’t keep a product on the shelf that they’re charging too much for it?

Just going off a quick look at the website. I acknowledged in my last post that they could come “back” in stock. Anyways… the price is in line with current reality. Our reality is that breakers buy up stuff like this and sell all the spots for well over $300.

Saw Layton break 15 cases while I was at work

ALL trash lucky to get 5 dollars for 90 percent of hits

He did hit the cut Wagner auto but besides that mostly value box hits

Part of the glut of middle tier product that Topps could cut and we’d be better off.

They can’t. They’re required to put out a certain number of products per year; I think the number is something like 35. A product like Tier One where the majority of autos are on card is one of the last ones I’d like to see cut.

Why would Fanatics get rid of Tier One? 1 base and 3 hits. Takes 30 seconds to rip a box. Teeny tiny relics with exception of the jumbo patches that I assume still fall at 1/case. Mostly very low end autos. It’s a cash cow for them.
