Anyone pull anything good from them?

The only thing you can pull from them is digital base that you can complete the set to get a digital avatar. No hits or inserts in them.

The first couple years the free packs had combinable base for Goodwin, certain NHL (Compendium), and even Marvel (Annual 2016 and Dr Strange). They stopped doing that awhile ago though.

I ended up creating a second account to dump the dross into from free packs.

I thought you could get something from them to until I did some research and also thought logically these companies are never gonna give something free to users daily that could contain anything of value/prestige

Upper Deck originally did it as a marketing ploy to bring people to the platform and learn about ePack. It did its job based on the product sell outs and multiple online groups. No reason to continue giving out free money just for visiting. Now you get free physical cards when you buy product and collect multiples of the digital counterpart.

Early on there were packs with base cards that were just like pack ones since they could be used to trade up.

You can pull autos from some products, not the daily ones though
