Default Shipping singles from US to Canada half of cards aren't making it last 4 months.

Been selling on Ebay for 5 years and have the same service / packaging for singles, using USPS Standard International.

The last several months I've issued a lot of refunds for Canada orders, even after waiting 2 months.

I know Canada post was striking and is less reliable then USPS, but is there still a backlog going on, are they striking again or have things gotten permanently worse due to whatever is going on?

Anyone with some helpful info?

I use EBAY's international shipping from US to Canada. If buyer does not want to pay for the service it does not bother me. I am going to protect myself first/.

This exactly. Using the eBay service you are only responsible to get it to the eBay hub....after the envelope is received at the US hub any problems become theirs.

Interesting. I don't have Ebay International Shipping US to Canada as an option in my drop down options.

How do you select this option when creating a listing?

I've done some reading but not sure ...do I have to opt into a Shipping Program?

As I recall....from the Seller Hub you go to Selling Preferences(left side), then to Shipping Preferences(also left side), then you can opt in or out of the eBay International Shipping Program.

I receive a lot of PWE from the USA. It used to take 2 weeks but more recently they seem to be 3 weeks to a month. Definitely a slowdown.

I've done this for years and have had so few issues but....postal service seems to be getting worse all the time in both countries.
