My Topps redemption arrived damaged

Hi all,
I had a Nick Kurtz rookie auto gold/orange lava lamp refractor redemption.
Sent it in and it just arrived with a bent corner.
It's painfully obvious it happened when they put it in the penny sleeve because there's a dent in the sleeve where it pushed against the side and curled the edge.
Needless to say I'm livid. This card is a monster and I was psyched to add it to my collection.
I have initiated a claim. Never did this before. What's my outlook? Am I going to get another?
I'm almost thinking of just keeping it so I don't have to ship it back and get screwed. Am I worrying for no reason

I think they will just replace it with the same card.

They sometimes have players sign extra copies of cards and they can stamp it with the same number.

Ok now I need help.
Topps rejected my submission due to invalid proof of purchase.
It's a redemption card I pulled months ago. What do they want? I have the original redemption card with the redemption number and the receipt they sent with the card.

They want you to prove you were the original purchaser.

I don't see how that matters. I have the redemption card, I scratched it and sent it in. They sent me the card with a receipt. What more do I need?
It's not like I'm trying to replace a card I bought and pulled out the box.
The redemption card is proof of purchase. Total BS
