Default So Ralph Nader wants fighting banned.

I don't even know why I'm writing this. I mean who cares about a failed politicians useless opinion. Anyways here goes.

In a letter to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, former US Presidential Candidate (albeit not representing a party with a chance of winning) Ralph Nader has recommended that Gary Bettman outlaw fighting in hockey. He used last summers deaths of Wade Belak, Derek Boogard, and Rick Rypien to apparently further his point that fighting causes severe brain damage and concussions and leads to depression and suicide.

Honestly, who cares about his opinion? Fighting has a place and we all know it. Ralph Nader is cashing in on a tragedy to further his own personal opinion.

Your thoughts?
I will leave my signature the same until the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup. In short, I will never change my signature.

Ralph Nader can go eff his hat.

It's part of the culture of the game. Deal with it.

Maybe he should look at sports such as UFC and Boxing before worrying about a sport that has roughly 1 fight per game. Not to mention that fighting is a part of the game and it serves the purpose of cutting down on cheap shots. Ralph Nader can shove it.

Now that GM has not made the Corvair in over 40 years this becomes Ralph Nader's most important cause?
