Default Tuesday Market Report

Here's what you need to know:

With the 2012 MLB Draft last night and the next 49 rounds this week, there is alot of demand for the Rookie/Prospect based products. There are players drafted last night that are spread throughout 2009-2012 Products. It's just a matter of finding which product they are in. We are seeing a ton of sales in Bowman, Bowman Draft, Bowman Chrome, Bowman Sterling, Signature Stars, Topps Chrome, Elite Extra, and USA products.
We'll try to get a list together sometime today. Keep an eye on these as some are better than others...

2012 Topps baseball series 2 comes live this Wednesday. Sales have been very strong the past week. Jumbos have outsold about Hobby 3 to 1. The added Rookies, wrapper promotions and the extra content have spurred sales and there are more announcements to come from Topps.

Keep an eye on Rittenhouse Game of Thrones which comes live Wed also. Seems like this show has a huge following. There are 7 books in total and HBO just finished up the 2nd season. The Boxes that are coming out this week are from the first season so if the show continues to do well, these 1st season boxes could be in high demand down the line. There are already many $200+ Autos in the product including Case incentive cards and the Archive Box sells for much more than the tradition archive boxes in past releases.

2012 Topps Chrome FB is preselling better than any other product this year. At the price point of $759 a Case, there is a huge demand. Based on last years success and all of the variations that are in the checklist, this product should do well. How well will be determined by how the 2012 Rookies perform but this product should sell out at Topps shortly.

Trending up:

2010/11 Panini Dominion HK- Collectors are chasing the High end HK. Cup HK is priced too high at this point. Collectors are turning to Dominion.

2010 Panini America Century Collection- Breaks have always been decent but now the product has dried up.

Any of the High end Exquisite, The Cup, National Treasures Products are all trending up across the board

2012 Topps Museum Baseball and 2012 Topps Tribute Baseball both about to move higher. Dealers are trying to restocok and there's not much out there.

2011 Bowman Draft Picks Baseball is about to move much higher. Must be a few guys driving these...

Keep an eye on 2011 FB products. Saw an uptick 2 weeks ago and the trend continued this past week.

Some presells are selling much better than others. Could be content, speculation or a number of other reasons but it's usually not by chance. Collectors study the products and know when one product looks better than another. Not that it guarantees that it will be a success. Some collectors like to be contrarians and buy what others are not buying. Here are a few that have had some unusually high buying recently:

2012 Bowman Chrome Baseball
2012 Topps Five Star Baseball
2012 Topps Chrome Football
2012 Benchwarmer Vegas Baby
2012 Topps Tier One Baseball
2012 Panini Prestige Football
2012 Leaf Pop Century
2012 Topps Mars Attacks Heritage
2012 Topps Finest Football
2012 Topps Chrome Baseball
2012 Leaf History of Baseball Cut Signature Edition

More to come....
