Default Is There a Way to Get Rid of Scratches on Bowman Chrome Cards?

So an eBay seller decides to ship a Chrome Refractor in a toploader without a penny sleeve and now there are a ton of scratches on the surface. Is there any way to remove these scratches? Or should I just ask for a refund?

Ask for a refund and demand he pay return shipping.

This works for chrome cards too, just use a higher grit 100-125 and go SLOWLY.

Thanks for the advice guys! I'm kind of scared trying some of this stuff out though, the card is worth a little over $200..

I might just return it instead, especially since there are scratches inside the autographed area..

And the seller didn't ship the card in a sleeve? I'd be livid. Hope you gave him a piece of your mind when you got it...

Yeah, it's ridiculous, especially from a 100% feedback seller. I actually took the nice approach and he offered me a partial refund which is the only reason I would even consider keeping the card.

And I really do not get into what card it is in respect to the seller. Scratches aren't very deep, but they're pretty bad. About 5-6 long hair line marks, 2 scribblish(don't know what to call it) marks, and 15-20 minor marks around the card..

Return it buy another if you can. That is a lot of money to take a loss and with that many surface scratches. What will grade on surface 7.5 from BGS. If you just put it in your PC you will always think I have that card but full of scratches on it. You could never sell that card without it coming back to you somehow or someway. Get a Full refund give him a neutral feedback it won't mess with his 100%.Feedback he will buy penny sleeves now. It is lame if you don't get all your money back. $20 maybe but $200
