Default SNF Thread 10/7 Chargers @ Saints

Brees goes for the record today, which he should get with ease. Against his old team too.
But I think by the end of the game, Rivers shows why he was the guy San Diego wanted.

Current Spread
NO -3.5
O/U 53

I can't believe this is the Sunday night game too. Thought it should of ben NE/DEN. Not saying that was a good game but there wouldof been more hype.

Go Chargers. Would love to see Saints go 0-5.

How classless of the New Orleans fans to boo their own player...

I've never understood why those cheers are so popular

I'm not sure what they were cheering, but I don't think they were booing.

I was being sarcastic. Referring to the cheers of "Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww".

Fans don't do that with a player named Mike (Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike)...only guys whose name rhymes with boo. I don't get it.

For those watching, pass to Henderson. Record broken.

I need Rivers and Graham to score a bunch of points. Wish it would of been Graham to catch the record TD.

Ryan Mathews making a solid case for getting the starting gig back

God I hope so. I realize they aren't small issues but if you take his body of work so far in his career minus the injuries and fumbles and he has all the makings of an elite running back. It's the coaching staff that's being stupid. He's never gotten a fair shake, between Tolbert and Brinkley and now Battle he's never gotten the feature role he was supposed to have from the start.

Seems ridiculous he got benched over ONE fumble. I realize he had issues last year but come on.

I've read some reports that "claim" that was partially due to his clavicle injury and wanting to "work him back into the offense" but I doubt that.

I think Norv's just holding a grudge.

Norv is not the best head coach, most Charger fans I know including myself are just waiting him out at this point. It just infuriates me because I have a lot invested in Mathews cards and they drafted him to be THE guy. And yet here were are in year three and and he's never been the undisputed feature runner. Heck he's in a full blown timeshare at the moment!
