Default If you bought this Strasburg Patch Auto on eBay, it was stolen

Please let me know if anyone here bought or knows who bought this:

2010 Bowman Platinum Stephen Strasburg Green Refractor 4 color Patch Auto /199 | eBay

This card was stolen from me last year by forum member TigerBloood.

So what can really happen if you find the buyer? Why not ask the seller where he got it and who he sold it to.

The seller is the one who stole it from me. I somehow doubt he'd be interested in cooperating.

Ahh OK. But still what do you plan on doing to the buyer? Its not like they will hand it over to you.

I wouldn't ask them to do that. I'd like to work with Paypal to get the buyer their money back and me my card. Possibly unlikely, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck to you. I just read the thread on Tigerblood. Can't believe he got away with all that.

Me too ... crazy, looks like he spent a fair amount of time and effort building up a good reputation, just so he could steal a few thousand dollars. What good does it do for a man to gain the whole world ...

Trying to find his email now. I think Brian is one of the few guys who might actually be able to help me out.

He's a member of these boards. That may help your case. I believe his username is "Leaf."

Man, looks like you might luck out after such a long time of wishing you still had that card. I hope things work out for you!

Sort of amazing how cards will pop back up on ebay after a while. The one time I was scammed out of a card I wanted on ebay it popped up again a month later or something. It's part of why I don't freak out if a 1/1 card of Delgado pops up that I can't afford at the time; I figure it'll probably show up again sometime. One in particular I swear I've seen on there three times from different sellers haha.

Just curious, did you ever file the claim with the PD? If you did and included the number on the card and proof that you had owned the card, while it sucks for the buyer, you would be entitled to your card back and they would get no compensation for it (unless they could get it back from the seller) as it is illegal to receive stolen property knowingly or not.
