Below you will find the most up-to-date product information available. Our goal is to compile as much information within this THREAD regarding this product as possible. Throughout the Pre-sell process, we will update this thread with any content changes, videos/images, or any other manufacturer announcements that are made before the product is released. Press Pass Inc. is excited to announce a new product, Platinum Cuts Inscription Edition. This cut signature product offers collectors a variety of personalities from the following:

Sports Hall of Famers (Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Cy Young, Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Walter Payton, Red Auerbach)
Golden Age of Hollywood (Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Gary Cooper, Bob Hope, Errol Flynn, Frank Sinatra, Spencer Tracy)
Legendary and Historical Figures (Abraham Lincoln, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, Elvis, Harry Houdini
Pop Culture Icons (William Shatner, Davy Jones, Burt Reynolds, Leslie Nielsen)

Look for “Dual & Triple” cut signature cards with many featuring autographs on both sides of the card including:

Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef & Eli Wallach (The Good, The Bad & The Ugly)
Penny Marshall & Cindy Williams (Laverne & Shirley)

Pop Culture Icon Inscriptions are #’d from 1 of 1 to 1 of 9 including:

Each Platinum Cut card will be encapsulated by Beckett Grading Services and will be sequentially numbered. There will be nearly 2000 1 of 1’s!

In addition to an incredible array of Hall of Famers, multi-signature cut sig cards, Legendary signatures, and Pop Culture Icon “inscriptions”---see the updated presentation---the VINTAGE signatures from the Golden Age of Hollywood reveal a treasure trove of both legendary names as well as lesser known names who have the potential to deliver surprising value. Several examples alphabetically sampled from the attached roster of entertainers are noted below. The prices referenced are realized sell prices of signatures & signed photos from renowned auctioneer They can be found by searching “Past Auction Results” at: RR Auction: Search Completed Auctions

  • Eddie “Rochester” Anderson, Herbert Anderson, and Judith Anderson all sold for between $120 and $170
  • Looking at a few more letter “A’’s….Eve Arden, Alan Arkin, Richard Arlen, Pedro Armendariz, Robert Armstrong, James Arness, Edward Arnold, Fred Astaire, Mary Astor, Roscoe Ates, Richard Attenborough, and Jean-Pierre Aument all sold for $100 or more with many sales topping $200 & $300!
  • A look at the beginning of the “B”’s…..Stanley Baker, Lucille Ball, Anne Bancroft, Theda Bara, Lex Barker, Binnie Barnes, Lionel Barrymore, John Barrymore Jr, Richard Basehart—all with minimum sales of $120 with some auctions closing in the $200, $300 and $500 range.
  • How about the early “C”’s……Bruce Cabot, Sebastian Cabot, James Cagney, Sammy Cahn, Rory Calhoun, Joseph Calleia, Rod Cameron, Eddie Cantor, Kitty Carlisle, Mary Carlisle, Hoagy Carmichael, and Primo Carnera---same story as the “B”’s!
  • and so it goes throughout the alphabet: jumping to a few early “R”’s…Nancy (Davis) Reagan, Ronald Reagan, Donna Reed, Lee Remick, Duncan Renaldo, Michael Rennie, and Anne Revere—all in the $100-$200 range for signatures and signed photos.

The stories behind many of these legends from yesteryear are fascinating as well…
  • A couple of examples, just from the “Da’s”:
    Dorothy Dandridge---Beautiful singer and actress (1922--1965)who spent the early part of her career fighting the prejudices of the thirties and forties before landing the Academy Award nominated starring role in the film Carmen Jones. Committed suicide at the age of forty-two from an overdose of antidepressants. Her autographs/signed photos regularly sell for hundreds of $ at auction.
    Jane Darwell---Durable American character actress (1879–1967) who won the Academy Award for her supporting role as Ma Joad in the 1940 classic The Grapes of Wrath. Her autographs regularly sell for several hundred $ at auction.
    Marion Davies--Popular early film comedienne (1897–1961) who became infamous as the longtime intimate companion of married publishing tycoon William Randolph Hearst. Her autographs also regularly sell for hundreds of $ at auction.
