I just want to remind everyone of that.
He went 24 straight games last year in the regular season of 10 or more assists. The streak was put on pause when the season ended and the playoffs began. His streak is for the regular season, not the regular season and the post season together. Like all other stats in the NBA, regular season streaks and stats are distinct from post season streaks and stats. He had double figure assists tonight once again, so the streak is at 25 now. Everyone forgot about his historic streak once the playoffs began, but hopefully this catches fire in the media again. It deserves recognition. ![]() -Brandon Last edited by brandonlec; 10-30-2012 at 10:11 PM. |

Wow Rondo is not a real or good PG, a real PG would have at least 15 Assists and 20 Points for 25 Consecutive games

Rondo closed out the regular season with 24 consecutive games of 10+ assists. This is not only a Celtics franchise record, but is also the longest streak the NBA has seen since John Stockton logged a streak of 29 such games in 1992. Only Magic Johnson and Stockton have streaks longer than Rondo's, which is still considered active and will resume from here on out.
I'm not sure how many games Magic had. -Brandon |

Stockton's 37 in 1989 could be the highest streak total. -Brandon |

What defines a PG as having a good jumper? Jumpers are his weakness and we've always known that.

You can hate on Rondo all you want.. Keep in mind these two things..
He has 20 career triple doubles more than both Chris Paul and Deron Williams. And he also has a ring. Everyone said Lebron wasn't better than Kobe because he had no rings. Well the same thing applies here, Rondo is the best PG in the league. Period

He is a whiny little bitch---but I still love him. He an exciting player, and definately in the top 5 guards in the nba.

You might think he's better because he scores more but that's not what makes a great PG.. John Stockton could have scored more but he got his team mates involved. Rondo is a better all around point guard than cp3 and cp3 is a better scorer.

No I think he is better because he is a more efficient and dynamic offensive player. He is also the only guy Ainge was willing to trade Rondo for. If Rondo takes what he did in the post season last year and continues the trend this season then things may change.

Cp3 has yet to run a dynamic offense. He's been apart of teams that are out in the first round or don't make the playoffs. When he is in the finals putting up numbers and winning games will talk. See James Harden.
