Default Charlie Sheen and a Babe Ruth baseball.

Anyone else hear this story? I heard it on the Dan Patrick show. Apparently Zack Efron was at a Sheen party and he was showing him some of his memorabilia and pulls out a signed Babe Ruth ball. He bought this ball for 3 million at auction. He then proceeds to give it to Efron. Weeks later he notices the ball is gone and asks for it back. Wow. They were talking about the other items in his collection too. Sounds impressive.

Wait, so Sheen was showing the ball to Efron and Zac walked off with it...or Sheen actually gave it to him, sobered up, and realized what he had done?

The second one. He sobered up and realized weeks later he gave it to him and then asked for it back.

Wow...

I bet he felt like a total ass asking Zack for the ball back too.

I mean really though, what do you say?

"Hey Zack. You know how I do a lot of blow and down a lot of booze right? Well...about that Babe Ruth ball I gave you..."

Doesn't 3m seem a bit excessive for an auto'd Ruth ball? Did it have some other significance?

It might. Not sure. I know he owns Ruth's world series ring from 1927 too.

As cool as the ball is...I would definitely rather have the ring.

The ring I could see being worth 3m. All day long.

Efron has more than 3 million just with the spare change in his couch cushions. He will give it back. Plus it's freaking Charlie Sheen you think that guy had any shame in asking for it back? After all he's done in his life that conversation is about as routine as me rolling through the drive-thru and ordering dinner.

True, but I still can't help but wonder how much of his real life is actually just posturing and bravado.

charlie sheen has to be one of the most coolest person to hang out with. I remember seeing him on espn interview and apparently he donated tons of his stuff to the first espn zone in ny.

I find it REALLY hard to believe that the Babe Ruth ball is a 2.6 million dollar ball. Everything I can find says there is nothing historically significant about the ball. While looking I saw that he only paid 250K for the 1927 World Series Ring so there is no way that is worth 3 Mill either. Values and stuff aside, it's pretty funny that he is so drunk he gives away a Ruth ball. Even though he denies it happened.
