Smile 4 Topps Strata Blasters + RS Longevity Target Exclusive

Hi everyone, I am a new member and have been out of the hobby for quite some time. However, I am excited to get back in and share experiences with all of you. Thanks for having me.

I had $100 and some change so I decided to get some cards. I don't have a store near me that sells hobby so I decided to take my chances at Target and Wal-Mart. I bought 4 Strata Blasters, 1 RS Longevity Box, and 3 packs of Topps Platinum. I feel like I did relatively well, but I was hoping for some opinions on the quality of my hits.

Strata:

Dwayne Allen Auto

DeVier Posey Auto

Travis Benjamin Green Variation #28/50

Juron Criner Red Variation #09/25

Ryan Broyles Die-Cut

Platinum:

Michael Floyd X-Fractor, Melvin Ingram X-Fractor, and Dwayne Allen Black

RS Longevity:

Case Keenum and Ryan Lindley Ruby Variation

Joe Adams Dress for Success

Dwayne Allen Freshman Orientation

RG3 Dress for Success

Michael Floyd Freshman Orientation Prime #17/49

I was excited about the RG3 and Floyd! However, the Juron Criner auto came out of the package with a smudge on the J which I was a little bummed to see, also the Dwayne Allen is missing part of the D due to the signature running off of the sticker All in all I was happy. However, looking back I realize I had enough to probably get a lower end hobby box and was wondering if that might be a better option for me? Let me know what you think and thank you for your time.

4 autos in 4 blasters....I'd say that's pretty darn good. I've seen those R&S Longevity, but don't know much about them. Maybe someone else can shed some light on them for me.

Anyways, welcome to the forum and back to the hobby. I just got back in myself about 5 months ago. It's very addicting so be careful with how much you spend. I learned that lesson a few weeks ago

my longevity box had 5 jerseys in it. i think the target exclusives only have jersey cards in them, which is a bummer.

Don't ask me how much I want to offer. Come with a price in mind. If I don't want it or think it's worth that, I will let you know.

Mine did too- would be a bummer if indeed true. I got an auto out of a Longevity box in 2010.

If my math is correct, this was probably about $150 after taxes. You did pretty well, but you could have ordered a hobby box of Strata and gotten better hits most likely, at least you would have gotten a Clear Cut Auto.

For what you bought, you did well, even the Longevity (which usually is terrible) was decent with the RGIII and the Floyd patch is nice even if he doesnt sell well.

Btw I pulled a Dwayne Allen from a Strata blaster and his sig ran off the sticker on mine too. Bummer, cause his sig is pretty cool.

Not too bad overall really, especially for retail!
