Default USPS Advice...Scary

Hey everyone, was wondering if someone could help me out?? I have sent out several (probably 30+) packages with no issues, so even though I'm still fairly new to ebay I have had some success early on.

Long story short, all of my shipments have tracking information and I always follow them until they say delivered. I had a Justin Huber autographed card #/10 that I had for sale on ebay for $6 $1.00 shipping...someone offered $4 and I took's Justin Huber afterall. Anyway, on January 11th it was accepted by USPS in Wichita, then processed, then the third update said departed USPS in Wichita. Every since then no updates...nothing. I contacted the buyer and he hasn't received it yet and has seen the same updates. I will try to touch base with USPS to see but not very optimistic.

Obviously I'm going to refund the buyer the money back if it doesn't arrive, I have no problems doing that, what is scary though is I've sent some more valuable cards out (nothing over $100 yet) and to think this could happen to one of those is when you try and do things right and they end up like this.

Any suggestions?

Don't worry, it's just USPS being USPS. Give it some more time and the package will most likely show up.

Might want to put insurance on your more expensive cards. They will cover them if they are lost.

as long as you purchased delivery confirmation, paypal wiil cover the item and payment if it is lost. it just takes a phone call and a few weeks.

I would recommend insurance on any of the more expensive cards you send but i would say you are fine. USPS does this all the time!
