Ok obviously he didn't. But how did you feel with that thread title? After the new scandal that is arising is anyone surprised by a-rod? Not at all.

I wanted to make this thread to ask you what headline would shock you the most. Would it be "Griffey took steroids"? If I heard this I would not believe it and if it was true I would be shocked! What is the most shocking news you would never expect to hear?

Maybe a day comes when bud calls Pete Rose to the Hall of Fame

Griffey admitted to taking steroids after injuries. Alot of players have taken steroids to get back sooner. Illegal?? Maybe but within the rules. I have no problem knowing the grif took them to help him heal.

Why is it obvious he didn't? In that era, I wouldn't bet on anyone not taking anything, baseball is closer to WWE than the game alot of us grew up with. It's a shame what the commissinor and the players and their union have done, they all deserve to be under that cloud.

PED = performance enhancing drugs, so that pretty much covers everything used to enhance performance.

PED is just an acronym for performance enhancing drug, so steroids would be or form of a PED

Well most likely no one is surprised because he admitted to using steroids back in 2009

Right I understand that so.... Anyone can take steroids for anything. Like I had a friend that got real sick and they put him on steroids.

Steroids are PED's, as they enhance performance skills in sports. Steroids are indeed legal (all anabolic steroids are controlled substance III) if you have a prescription and used for many reasons but they are banned in sports
