Default Do you think Miguel Cabrera or Albert Pujols have used or currently using steroids?

These are two that I have always wondered about and with the current rumors of all of these players using steroids I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are? Looking from their rookie years to their current body shape it is kind of hard to see how they didn't. Don't mean to make this a 25 page bashing thread but am just curious about people's opinions.

I don't think they have. They have always been very consistent with their numbers. As far as their size, they have always been big guys. Thinner of course but I think they just squared out. That's my opinion, but who knows....

I really hate to say it and hope terribly that I am wrong but I have suspected Pujols for years.

I have confidence that Pujols never did ,but if his name was ever announced I would be really disappointed.

I think all humans should be on HGH... may extend lives as much as 50 years.. that being said I think 80% of athletes are on some form of it now.. so yes (not steroids though, those are ancient by now)

I strongly believe Pujols has and may possibly still be but without proof it doesn't matter what I think.

Cabrera I think it's just big and strong but as with the culture in the game it wouldn't shock me if it came out that he had but I'd believe Pujols did before I'd think Cabrera.

I don't see another option that says I do not know because I do not have any valid evidence to go off of and accusing anyone is kind of silly.

Athletes naturally progress in size. Think about this, they went from minor league or foreign nations to highly touted prospects then superstars under the guidance of hitting coaches, trainers, doctors, etc. The season starts in March ends in October, they are provided with state of the art workout facilities anywhere they go. Their entire days consist of working out and conditioning in preperation for competition. I know I have a top of the line couch and over my years of conditioning on it you can clearly see a natural progression in the opposite direction of these guys.

Im sure we could put up pictures of 100's of ball players from when they were rc's to 12 years later and most will be bigger then they were then. Some guys just get bigger then others and both have had consistent #'ers their entire careers. I dont think so

If you saw pics of a lot of us from a 10 year period, you would think a lot of US were juicing too. The body changes a lot from 21 to 31 w/o the use of steroids

I'm biased too as an Angels and Pujols fan but I'm not stupid either. Those two pictures above really back up my beliefs.

True but most of us change like Cabrera and very few of us change like Pujols.

Pujols has gotten more buff but Cabbie has just gotten more fat.

Exactly. And for those with the consistency arguements, Cabrera has certainly stayed consistant while also not losing size. Pujols has regressed at the same time as slimming down. Coincidence? Again, as a Pujols and Angels fan I hope I am wrong but I doubt it. For those of you that refuse to judge without "evidence", that is the thought process that allows criminals, scammers etc to get over time after time.

If Cabbie has been using, the same formula based on changing appearance would apply to Phil Coke. Guess he's been roiding too.

And Delmon....

Don't even need to post pics of Prince.

Tigs don't roid up, but they do chow down.
