Default 3 Boxes of 2013 Gypsy Queen -- 2 Case Hits!

Will have scans later. Everything going to eBay tonight ... requests for prices will be ignored unless you just absolutely blow me away with an offer on something.

These 3 boxes were ridiculous. I would have been happy with just the worst of the three.

Here we go:

Relics
- Alex Gordon
- Dee Gordon
- Yonder Alonso
- Jay Bruce
- Ian Desmond
- Torii Hunter

Autos
- Darin Ruf
- Starling Marte
- Matt Moore
- Yovani Gallardo
- Carlos Ruiz
- Shaun Marcum

Short Prints
- Trout, many others ...

Blue-Bordered #/499
- Cal Ripken Jr.
- Brett Lawrie
- Alex Gordon

Minis
- Dylan Bundy, many others ...

Variation Minis
- Dylan Bundy x2, many others ...

SP Minis
- Ryan Braun
- Hoyt Wilhelm
- Eddie Mathews

Black Minis #/199
- 6 total (something notable here but I forget)

Green Minis #/99
- Jackie Robinson, 2 others

Sepia Minis #/50
- Yoenis Cespedes

And the big ones:

.
..
...
....
.....
......
.......
........
.........
..........
...........
............
.............

Wood Minis #/5
- Lou Boudreau SP

Mini Autos #/10 (inside the box loader)
- Nelson Cruz

Thanks for looking.

Nice break Grant. What's the difference between SP mini & Variation mini?

Ah ... variation minis are the ones in the box toppers. Mini set has 300 cards, variation mini set only has 100. The backs of the cards look exactly the same.

If you mixed them together ... well, good luck.

I don't think I've mixed mine yet, but they're definitely in the same stack. Do they have different codes on the backs? That's all I look for anymore to determine if a card is SP. If that went away, I'd be in trouble. Though my eyesight might improve from less squinting.

Codes are the same as well. I believe Cardboard Connection has a mini variation guide. Best way to tell the difference is not to mix them together.

Wow. Thanks for the heads-up. Gonna have to check mine again tonight. One last question. Are all the cards in the mini boxes a variation, or just some?

Yes, all cards in the mini boxes are variations, part of the 100-card set. All base minis in the regular packs are part of the 300-card set.

So, as it turns out, maybe this was not such a great break after all. I still have all the base/variation minis, inserts, and base, and sold just about everything else over the weekend ... to the tune of around $175. Was really surprised about the Boudreau wood mini ($26) and the Cruz mini auto ($25). I was expecting at least $40 for each of those.

Probably going to end up building the mini sets and a master set, so I guess it's not terrible ... just a little surprising is all. Sales usually hold strong through release weekend, but it looks like they were tapering off by early Sunday. I blame retail releasing a week early.

Haha ... I can imagine that would be quite a pain. There is a visual guide here if you did:
