Default The Frenzy's TTM Thread

Thought I'd start one of these after what I just got back in the mail!

But first, just another reason why I send my requests in toploaders (pinched, painters tape folded over, no penny sleeve - easier to open than the envelope itself). This was how my cards came back: (the big tear is where I opened - the rest were done in transit)

But thankfully my cards were undamaged!

This was one of the first custom cards I designed, so obviously I would have made a few changes in hindsight, but overall I'm really happy with this success. It's taken me 8 months to piece this project together, but now, at last - I present a truly awesome card! Vint Cerf, Leonard Kleinrock, Robert Kahn, and Lawrence Roberts....aka, the "Fathers of the Internet."

(And yes, I also have Tim Berners-Lee's sig and a few other "Fathers," but these were the four that I grouped on this card.)

That's awesome! Very cool to see you could get all of their signatures on two cards.

I used MyTradingCards.com - Make Your Custom Trading Cards for this batch. I'd like to be able to print my own, but for now it's the simplest way. One warning, the cards are heavily laminated front and back so you have to send some kind of marker pen (Staedtler Lumocolor for me) or else you run the risk of them signing with something that doesn't stick.

They are a little pricey. Nice job on getting all those guys on it.
