Live 2007 Upper Deck SP Authentic Football Case Break

I had some interest in this from some private messages so I am starting a thread. I have a case right now from blowout. I am thinking about have 12 slots for $105 for each slot.
Each slot will contain at least the following:
2 Autos
1 Patch or letter
2-3 Rookie Authentics

I will randomly pick 12 names out of a hat
The first will of course have the biggest advantage. The first auto will go to the first name, the first auto to the first name, and so on. So if there are 36 autos in the case, everybody will get 3, if less than the first few lucky names will get the most. I will also give anybody a player list for commons, I want to keep it down low since I am barely charging anything for shipping and if I can keep it down to 3-10 cards per shipping, and I can ship it for cheap.
Let me know, that is $105 for PayPal balance transfer, and $109 for credit card. Once we get 12 people I would be able to start the live break, which I will post the hits as they happen. Let me know guys.

The only possible way for me to do that is for me to get it at my poker site. I haven't played on fulltiltpoker for such a long time but I have like 100,000 points that I could redeem for a video recorder. I always said I was going to get one, I guess today when I get home I will get it.

haha, Jacob, you don't have to do that. Do you have a camera that takes video or does a friend of yours have a camera to lend you for a couple of hours?

For 105 a slot I think that I am down!!!!! Just let me know if anyone else gets in on this...I think that I am tired of breaking boxes of this stuff! Its a lot of work for 3 hits

Is there an advantage to doing a break this way as opposed to buying a box? I know its all random as far as what is pulled in the boxes/cases. The break idea caught my eye, but I'm just trying to determine if there any advantages from doing the break this way. Sorry, don't mean to put down the break in any way.....just being a little curious is all.

i don't think there is an advantage...... and having an advantage is what the group breaks are all about.

Yes....a box sells for $107, so my break is actually cheaper then buying a sealed box. And yes those odds are the same odds of a stated box....I mean there are 12 slots, so I can't promise anything more/less than what is guaranteed odds.

Let me know, anything they want to be changed, is anybody seriously intersted, and how many slots? Or are you guys more intersted in a similiar slot break on these boards, which was 36 slots

I think you guys are missing the point on the group break in regards to a sealed case of product. For $105 you can get a box yourself at a store or online. However... are your odds of getting a nice card or a "hit" good or bad?
True story... Saturday after opening 4 boxes of 07 UD SPA my friend and I ran some errands and headed to the local expensive shop. As we were walking in someone was walking out w/ a handful of SPA packs. The owner was jawing w/ a customer that had just bought a bunch of different unopened boxes so my friend and I just listened and looked at what new stuff had come in. There was an opened box of UD SPA right there.. for $6 a pack. Well, before the conversation ended the big guy walked back in and interrupted by asking "How much for a case?". I thought maybe he was asking for a case of stuff but what he meant was for a case to hold the card he just pulled. He held up a Calvin Johnson Auto Jersey (4 color) GOLD RC /25. As he held it up he threw down 5 thick dummy cards from SPA. Great pull... but as the older owner goes in the back to fit his card to a magnetic holder the guy quickly goes thru the box that's on the counter and pulls out the rest of the thick packs. Uh.. hello? You just pulled the best card out of the box, much less the case? My friend and I asked if he had just pulled it out of the box on the counter and he said "yes". So we said "cool card" and walked out w/ our money in our pockets.
The moral of my story is that in buying a single box your odds are NOT 50/50 of pulling the auto jersey RC... a case is supposed to have 6 of them and 6 letterman autos but sometimes collation from UD stinks. How do you know that a case of product was not busted by someone and they are dumping all the letterman boxes? This is not "pack searching" but if you play the odds you can still figure out that there are percentages that are in your favor and against you.
In buying an unopened case you are upping your chances of pulling the "case hit". If you are spending your hard earned money wouldn't you want to at least think that you have a chance at something nice??? Feel free to chime in fellow box breakers/case busters.

Nice post, yea that is the point of a case break, the case is unsearched and sometimes (hopefully) will get a huge card.
