Default Star Wars newbie can some explain the value of sketch cards?

I am a star wars fan but never got into busting galaxy boxes. I clicked to blowouts box prices and notice that they posted some auctions and some of the Star wars sketch cards were going for $199.

Can someone tell me what determines the value of these sketch cards? They do not appear to be numbered. Is it based on an artist popularity? I am mainly a football and basketball collector and value is based on player performance whether or not a card is autographed, numbered, or some type of refractor etc.

I am thinking of branching out into collecting star wars cards too and it would be nice to know what are considered the coveted insert/chase cards

i think there are 3 factors
1 quality of sketch
2 artist
3 amount of sketches drawn by artist
