Default John wall is an all star

With rose out. Wall should make the all star team behind kyrie and d wade. Sick 360 dunk vs lakers today and his 3rd straight 30+ point game. Walls always been a pass first point guard. He's like rondo with dunking ability and by far the fastest player in the NBA. Show some love for John wall !

Ahead of Kyrie IMO. He's the best PG in the East.

Kid can ball. I was harsh on him last year, but he's learned how to control his tempo on the court and not just be flat out wild 24/7. Beal (when healthy) only helps him. Love that back court combo.

I'm impressed by the way he's been playing lately. Sometimes it takes time for players to develop. He has been knocked all over the place and often during the last 2 seasons and who can blame the doubters. Maybe he has finally started to mature as a player and adult. Here's my contribution. Totally certified emerald rpa /5

I buy it! I think he's really starting to become what was projected.

Was watching the game today and the Lakers had no solution for him.

He's playing at a high level this year. His jump shot is pretty consistent now. I hope he keeps improving.

Was at the game courtside and he was hitting jumpers which makes him pretty unstoppable. He got a ton of fast breaks due to steve blake making terrible decisions (not to mention he is one of the fastest guys in the league). His defense is pretty horrendous for the most part still though from what I saw.

If he gets a consistent mid range jumper(Like above poster says) he will be worth his contract. Too bad Wizards fans are some of the worst in the league. More Lakers fans at the game tonight and Wall was getting booed for a lot of the game.

It's pretty hard to find nice Wall cards right now also. Been trying for a few months. A lot of guys are holding it seems.

By the way. Nick Young was getting booed by the Wizards fans in attendance was awesome because he started playing 1-1 and drilling 3's in front of the wizard bench and talking trash.

Was a good game we almost pulled it out but our defense was horrendous all night and we couldn't stop Nene early on and then Wall finished us off.

Yeah it was fun seeing Young start making tough shots in a row. Farmar did great also but Wall and those Webster three's hurt the Lakers.

Yea no clue how we gave up so many bad runs. We kept trying to bounce pass into Jordan Hill and it wasn't working.

Also when Ariza fouled Pau at the end I thought we were going to send it into OT. The look on the Wizards players face and their huddle sounded like they thought so too. But then Nick Young attempted almost a half court shot and it was all over.

glad people are agreeing with me now instead of arguing about how much of a bust he was/is

hope his rookie autos shoot back up here soon, as they should if he keeps this up. dude is electric, just took a little while to develop his game to the nba.

He is a one man fast break. If he can ever find a consistent jump shot....watch out. With that said it is regular season basketball. Make the postseason and put up those numbers and then I will be impressed.

Hope he continues to improve and be at that all-star level on a consistent basis

This thread (along with the 50 page long Kyrie thread) is why I love the hobby...

Kyrie and Wall are having about equal years - but because Kyrie was hyped last season, and Wall had an "off" year, we have this thread calling Wall an All-Star and we have another thread bashing Kyrie for being so overrated.

I think both have bright futures - it's just like the living example of what expectations do to 2 comparable players. Kyrie had higher expectations this season than Wall so he sucks and Wall is a rising star.

John Wall had an off year last year? He had the best year of his career coming back from the injury and the team made a complete turn around in wins/losses when he came back.

Oh I agree - I'm not calling it an off year - but the hobby sure called it an off year.

Wall came into this season with way less expectations than Kyrie did.

Kyrie is now overrated. Wall is now a rising star again. Even though they are quite similar this season as far as total production.

I'm not pimping one over the other - I just find it interesting how vastly different threads can be in this hobby based on collectors and where they spent money.
